I know it's just my mind fucking with me and me being a tad irrational, but I'll be damned if it doesn't feel believable. Why are you going to go to a bar if you don't drink? Well ignoring that depending on your intentions it's not hard, just going to socialize is easy, sit at the bar and chat with the bartender for a bit they'll generally be up for it most of the time. If you're going to pick up guys/gals idk, in my 4 years of working the bar I haven't ever seen a smooth pickup, people go to bars to be social most of the time not be hit on, you have to be smooth as hell in bars because people aren't wasted like in clubs.

It doesn't even have to be a bar, but that's where people gather. I'm not trying to get anyone home either. I just want friends who aren't 30 minutes away.

I dunno then, 30 minutes away would be amazing for me :v

I went to a private school that was close to where they live so that's sorta the problem. That's where I met all of my real friends. I had to get driven everyday because I was so far.

In other news, my new desk is complete. My father and I built it from scratch to fit the room correctly. Here's an album featuring old and new. Dad just moved house from vancouver, and me along with him. Traded a shitty old 50's vancouver special for what i can only describe as a 21st century plantation style thing tucked away in a wooded area 30 feet from the beach, surrounded by artisans and all sorts of interesting people. And i'm picking up the Ferd this saturday. Life is good.
