Relationships are kinda hard when you live in in country where you can stabbed for being gay. Not to mention being an introverted person. Oh and the fact that I have no IRL friends and most IRL people I meet are horrible since Estonia is not the best place to live in or find friends. So while all this advice is cool it's kinda wasted since I'm blocked off fro everything that could improve me or my mood.
Oh boy, eastern europe. Yeah that's rough.
Sorry to hear that dude, I heard it can be tough over there. I messed around with a guy from Latvia years ago and he told some things here and there.
I know the whole 'chin up' talk doesn't really help, but this is the digital age and there's always something around the corner.
Even meeting other guys online has been a huge failure for me so yeah I have sufficient reasons to give up. Not to mention being scared for my life and being branded whatever the normal people want to brand me if they were to find out.

Radical suggestion, but have you considered thinking about moving to another EU country?

The closest and best I can think of is Finland. I'm sure they got migration plans as well.
Afaik Estonian and Finnish are similar in languages too?

I mean, technically as an EU citizen you're eligible for social security and even housing.
It might be worth researching how to do it on a budget? It's certainly possible to do it with just the shirt on your back.
Happiness is worth the struggle, otherwise we're not properly alive.
Come down to Australia, we're just recently gay :v:
EDIT:
Scratch that, don't, the housing and job market is atrocious here

That'd be only viable if he got employed there though. I very much doubt that's the case. Plus the food there is apparently so horribly bland that is ridiculos (this is coming from my uncle who has worked there for 1.5 years now).

i feel like bland food is not exactly a major concern right now
i've got dogsitting and a room figured out for my first con, registering and buying plane tickets tonight :o

I'd not go to Finland for reasons. Somewhere further. But right now I wanna focus on the home and visting my psychologist some more. First time visit and I felt a lot better already.
Looking at housing just makes me incredibly sad. I want to be out of this damn motel already. My boss is supposed to be renting his property to us, but he's being agonizingly slow about it ("oh it'll be ready in february" he said last december. Now it's not likely to happen until May). So I start looking at rentals and housing prices on craigslist and it's nearly impossible.

Like it's not the paying for it that's the issue. It's a landlord's market. Why would a management company bother renting to some young gay couple with one job and some school help and mediocre credit when they could rent to a middle age professional couple with two jobs and children and perfect credit? We'd probably spend about $300+ on application fees before we found a place, if we ever did.

Good to hear that a psychologist is helping. It takes a lot to make that first step c:
I really need to see someone about my anxiety but I hardly feel like I have the time.
My bf got diagnosed with depression and anxiety and he's taking the pills and it seems to be going ok so far. 2 weeks in now.

Your mental health takes priority when it comes to living in this world, seek help if its really interfering with your life.
I've been putting it off for so long because I know some meds can really kill your sex drive and such.

that's silly though, because your ability to find sex and pursue sex is going to also suffer under anxiety and depression.
SSRIs can affect your ability to get off, and reduce your libido slightly, but they don't completely erase the possibility of sex. SNRIs are another solution, and those can just end up increasing your libido. And if it's really a problem, talk to your prescribing physician and they can consider prescribing medication to help any issues you're having with sex

ive been out of ADHD medication for two days now and my doctor's office is making it a pain to get a refill. its been a blurry few days filled with tons of napping and really low productivity at work.
the good news im going in tomorrow and getting that sorted, and probably starting on prep and getting an updated STD/STI panel
i can attest that it ABSOLUTELY depends on the person, my venlafaxine (SNRI) tanked my sex drive and the drug they give you to reduce side effects (bupropion) like that only half-worked. it's a clusterfuck, but one you can fiddle around with over time and work out
better than having uncontrollable anxiety/depressive episodes though tbqh

Wellbutrin/buproprion did nothing for my sex drive, lexapro did reduce it though. i'm already on stimulants that sorta boost it though I guess? Idk, I had better luck with supplements: I'm assuming that's partially a placebo though, but who cares if it works
My sex drive depends entirely on people being interested in me though, at which point it goes from 0-60 real fast. Problem is getting people interested and wanting to smash
I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression and am on zoloft atm, I can attest that it hasn't really killed my sex drive (assuming I had a sex life in the first place :v:)
Sex drive does not equal your sex life.

zoloft killed my drive for a few weeks. now i'm on vortioxetine and i'm doing hella fine in the sheets

wow my avatar has never been this fitting
venlafaxine/effexor right now too. I've been on prozac, zoloft, and lexapro, nothing has ruined my sex drive and appetite like this drug has. lexapro did make it harder to finish though, which was more frustrating than nothing having a sex drive imo.
yeah venlafaxine is a weird one for sure, if i span out my sessions though it's tolerable. i think by this summer or so my psych will let me taper off, hoping that goes well

that looks sick
i'd get very hurt
I got a really nice thousand dollar bike from a coworker that we use maybe once a month because it’s stored at the very back of our place so it’s a huge pita to get out.
