My dad put a few staples in my head when I was a kid.
I always thought it was a little creepy how young they pierce girls ears, but then again a lot of parents don't force girls to wear earrings. They only pierce their ears at young age to give them the opportunity to wear them.
You could argue that if you gave the kids the option to, or not to get them pierced they might not do it, but the same can be said for anything, like learning an instrument, or going to school.
I don't know about you but I'd rather have my parents decide to do circumcision when I don't really feel or remember the pain.
I'm a girl and my parents did this to me when I was about ten months old. They only pierce a baby if he/she is 12 months old, so my parents even lied about my age. But now I'm actually really glad that they let my ears be pierced at such a young age. I like wearing earrings and I don't want to get anymore piercings because I'm pretty much scared of pain.
Young children around 7 look disgusting with ear piercings. Boys and girls at that age with piercings make them looks 'common'.
Fuck yeah posh English use of words.
I sometimes see children old enough to be in preschool with earrings. :X
I got you beat there. My mom got my ears pierced as early as the place would let her. I was 30 days old. :v:
I don't care, and I don't think it's a bad thing at all honestly. I hated earrings when I was younger, so I just didn't wear them. My ears were pierced, yeah, but it's not like it was noticeable. Now that I'm older, I wear earrings all the time. I don't think it's a big deal when parent's get their kids' ears pierced, if they don't like it later on in life, just don't wear earrings. Who cares.
the kid wont remember the pain when they're older and if they do it wont be significant get over it thanks bye
It doesn't hurt at all.
Woah woah woah.
What the fuck?
The problem doesn't lie with the pain but with the fact that parents treat their children like fashion accessories
ah, excuse me for not getting it.
i agree about the fashion accessory bullshit, but i hate it when someone complains about the "pain" the children will experience weather its about circumcision or ear piercings.
I believe it's okay for women to start piercing (ears (lobes)) when they reach their early teens. When they get older, they can do more 'advanced' piercings (I.E around the pinna ?). Any time before that I believe it's plain stupid. It's like giving a ten year old a cell phone.
I don't think men should get piercings at all, but that's just my opinion.
Some piercings on guys can be cool.
Provided you don't get into fights and are older than 14.

ie. being a "tough guy" with piercings will never ever work because some fucker is going to rip them out of your face ears and or nipples
Uh, they're ear piercings? Having your ear pierced doesn't fill your life with nearly as much mild annoyance as circumcision, when you want to rub one out but you CAN'T because you need lube and even when you get really desperate you can't produce spit with the consistency to provide decent lubrication and it's dripping and there's a wet ppatch on the bed but it's not cum it's your failed attempt to lube up your mutilated cock oh god oh god help me the walls are CLOSING IN ON MY DICK
Yeah, being circumsized is a real bitch sometimes.
I'm circumcised and can masturbate just fine without lube.
That reminds me.

I did that with a locker combo lock to some kid in school.
He punched me in the face :v:
Any kind of change to the body when a toddler isn't their choice. A 12 year old wanting ear piercings is fine, a 3 year old who doesn't understand is simply parental abuse.
In Ireland, if a young kid (Like from 4 upwards) has an ear piercing (especially boys) you know they're either a traveller (Irish term, more or less like gypsy, except they're not gypsies in the traditional sense. In short, travellers are the scum of the earth) or they're from a really poor scumhole town/neighbourhood.
You mean pikey?
