I'm starting a 'multimedia design club' at school and I need to make a poster advertising it. What do you think of this?

Otherwise I like it, but to me doesn't symbolize anything regarding those types of design.
Well, I like the fonts and text setup. But I really don't understand what that illustration has to do with anything, and I have no idea why you put on a crumpled paper texture seeing as it adds nothing to it other than "it looks cool".
yeah the crumpled paper looks forced
i feel like the blobs shouldn't intertwine at the bottom, and instead stay side by side in the order they're in (while still being thin down the bottom like they are)
I have no fucking idea how to use illustrator but I've been using flash since I was like 9, so yeah. Is using flash instead of Illustrator a bad thing?
I have no fucking idea how to use illustrator but I've been using flash since I was like 9, so yeah. Rusty probably wants to suck on your cock right now because he adores Flash and fucking hates Illustrator and thinks Flash is 100x better than Illustrator.

Also I made this logo for graphical communications class at school. We were supposed to make a logo for ourselves. I'm a filmmaker and a musician, so here's what I made
It's a good concept but it could do with some tidying up
Thanks! Any ideas on what I could do to fix it up a bit? I realize the name placement is bad and should be closer to the camera/guitar neck so I'll fix that.
Thanks! Any ideas on what I could do to fix it up a bit? I realize the name placement is bad and should be closer to the camera/guitar neck so I'll fix that.
I'm not sure, try making the video camera bit more guitarey or something
yeah name placement is a bit weird and the video camera is just a block, maybe give it details?
yeah name placement is a bit weird and the video camera is just a block, maybe give it details?
Well, thing is I wanted to use the universal symbol for a camera.
yeah but it doesnt really match the guitar. or you could try simplifying the guitar's head
I don't know how you will be printing this, but you should cut the background complexity (lots of shades of a color) if you want to cut down printing costs.
unless you're doing screen or lithographic printing then you don't really need to worry about the amount of colours i imagine he'll be printing from a (fairly) standard inkjet CMYK, so there's absolutely no need to reduce colour values

I made an album cover for a (as of now) fake band. [img_thumb]http://filesmelt.com/dl/Basisyntez.jpeg[/img_thumb] Thumb'd for hugeness. [editline]25th September 2011[/editline] I like me some chromatic aberration.
I got a school assingment to make a water bottle label, note that im very new to illustrator though. CC appreciated!
Lose the thin outline, it looks very unprofessional. Might I suggest either nothing, or a faint glow or faint drop shadow. Or even a faint gradient on it. I get that you wanted it to stick out but the really thin outline just doesn't look good.

We actually had a quick course about printers and printing costs in school, but in this thread I always assume everyone will be printing on those printers where each print has it's own slab with color and will be printing in massive amounts. Saving color isn't an issue when you have to print 10 posters at school tho :D [editline]26th September 2011[/editline]
I got a school assingment to make a water bottle label, note that im very new to illustrator though. Kinda like delete some dots where you want the curves to be.

I like the whole screenprint look

So I had posted this in CWTDDAT but apparently it should go here. This is a graphic design I did for SENIOR shirts at my school (incorporating SENIORS with '12, our graduating year). They chose this design: Any suggestions on what to change? I didn't find it that difficult to make, so I feel like there should be something else I am doing.
i think generally the 12/R could be a little tidier, but i really like the idea! [editline]26th September 2011[/editline] (i appreciate that's not much C&C, sorry!)

I think the 12/R is fine, but I'd make the blue colour deeper and the 12/r more crimson as it currently looks a bit too brown
"Norvannets kilder har lagt ifred" Sikker på at du ikke mente Ligget i stede for lagt?
and "i fred" (or "i ro") not "ifred". What the fuck is a ifred? A new Apple product?
and "i fred" (or "i ro") not "ifred". What the fuck is a ifred? A new Apple product?
Yes I need to fix that typo, aswell as the Lazore mentioned. But is there anything related to the design itself and not the typos which I should change (except the curves)?
