Look around for brushes, splatter images or something

what do you think of this concept?
Only the top right has the E be readable instantly
i don't get why the random cut rectangles of colour are there, it just doesn't seem to have any bearing on the rest of the design
i like the other idea though, except for the pink one where the sigma is the wrong way around so it looks like it says
SIGEA and Wnterprises

Yeah, so do you think I should go with that one?

The little rectangles are there to balance out the two sides of the M because otherwise it would look unblanaced if you get what I mean?
Top left is the best, I don't like the orange tho.
Can you do something about the square on the left? Like make it as big as a letter or something like that?

Thanks for the feedback, do you mean I should make the little coloured rectangle a bit wider?
I personally like the green one as I feel it's the most readable. Perhaps, since your font is a bit rounded on the edges, you could round the edges of the color blocks as well? Just slightly, though, as you'd lose a lot of that professional look if it was too heavy.

Yes either that or use the top right design and loose the squares and instead make the whole thing look like a sigma.
Besides the square only adds to the design on the top left. I don't think the other three would look unbalanced without it.
I wish I had people as awesome as you to rely on for graphic design, instead of my simple self.
Then stupid looking shit like this wouldn't exist:

opinions?
the blue squiggles seem a bit unnecessary, but otherwise it's pretty cool

I think you should have either multi coloured squiggles or no squiggles but it still looks awesome

Orange one looks nice. But I think the M/E should look more like an E. It's readable, sure, but it doesn't give the feeling of being an E, it's rather "I know this is supposed to be an E so I will read this as an E" rather than "Heh, that M looks like an E as well".
(it's a sigma, that's what they look like)
(it's a sigma, that's what they look like)
Oh, that kind of sigma. Well, it still annoys me that I have to force myself to think of it as an E rather than just seeing it as an E because it looks like one.

well here's the thing. That .ai file is so big that Illustrator cant open it again, so everything I do now has to be on photoshop
But i thought the squiggle connected the piece, though its not something that bothers me. I'm going to submit this in a while, unless theres something else you'd like to point out

ok now without the squiggly blue line, just a squiggly white line. I need a better computer ...

Better.
I just don't understand why it needs a squiggly line in the first place.

I thought it looked good when I had the simple pyramids, but then after changing them it looked a bit different
Looks great.
Could you show how that'd look like on a supersized print?
What do you mean?
I only have a template of this guy, he's probably wearing an L or something. But if it goes XL you'll just see
[editline]2nd October 2011[/editline]

this is the full view, if thats what you were wondering. Printing shirt work like this: The size of the design will always be the same. So if you ask for an S size, you may not get the lower part printed, whereas in an XL it should be there

one question where do i buy it

Ummm...
That's the fullsize resolution for the image? That's the working size?
Because that's fucking small for any kind of print. Would look like shit on A4.
In terms of printing size with 300dpi that is 5x5CM big.
By pushing to the default straightoutofthecamera dpi at 225 (which should not be used) it's 6x6CM.
By making it look like shit with a web-display DPI at 72 it is 21x21CM big and would make anyone puke when they saw it.
This is a supersized print: http://www.threadless.com/product/1450/When_Pandas_Attack/tab,guys/style,shirt
It goes all the way to the shoulders, with the design being huge
Your design looks like it'd be great supersized
oh you mean oversized. At least thats what I see everybody calling it. And yeah belt printing and everything.
And that shirt is pretty cool, I thought of buying it but cash...

oh no lol it's just a resized pic. I usually work on 3000x3000px 300dpi
but anyway, is there anything you'd like to add about the design itself?
haha i see you extended a bit of the pyramids, though its too late now since I already submitted it to threadless and designbyhumans
and its already on Threadless
http://www.threadless.com/submission/374180/Icy_Koopa
yep I noticed that too. Started off with a pretty bad average this time. And DBH hasn't accepted my submission yet, don't know why they're taking so long
so you know that place i'm going to in march through may?
well it turns out they're super busy right now, so today i got a phone call to go in today! like i would be doing in march, just... now. at the moment it's only 'til the end of the week, but if they're still busy next week they might keep me on for longer. quite exciting!
you got the worst possible time for threadless submissions
there's a "rate 200 shirts until tomorrow and you might win 100 shirts or something" thing going on, so most people are just rating 1 on everything :/
Proof why those kind of competitions are retarded as fuck.
