509mm/any other M16 length barrel
Any idea how long the G36C inner barrel is?
Did some research. I think I'll be fine with the CM031D for a while. Rather get that and a tightbore than the other gun. Comes with a better battery too. My only gripe is the stock, and its slight at that
who?
Was going to say to stay with your CM031D, but you posted a minute before my reply came in.
In regards to ASGI, Vandy bought an Full metal M16A2 with blowback, as stated by the website, and when it arrived it had no blowback. He sent it back and just decided to get the poly with no blowback. [editline]15th March 2013[/editline] So yea, if they fuck up, it's an easy fix, they arent going anywhere
I disagree. My return process with ASGI took over 2 weeks. And this was just for them to admit they sent me the wrong thing and give me a return shipping label.
I pretty much buy everything from Evike and I havent had any shipping mistakes. The only time I had to RMA something was because I bought the wrong thing.
Evike took at least 2 weeks to ship every single one of my orders. And one time they shipped it to the wrong state (how you mix up MI and CT is beyond me)
Evike also has orders on backorder forever, and they just take your money. Evike is more a last resort for me.
Hopefully, this should be the last time I have to ask silly questions about stuff. I've settled on trying to cobble together a Soviet VDV afghanistan style loadout, mainly due to my love of the AK-74 series of rifles. I've thrown together a quick kitlist, and would appreciate some tips on whether I'm right about the items of kit and where best to get them from. Headwear - Khaki cap thingy (kepi?) Uniform - Summer Afghanka jacket and trousers + Telnyashka (preferably sleeveless?) Load-Bearing - Chicom rig/Lifchik rig Boots - Not sure here, I suppose there was a specific type? Gun - AKS-74 Absolute maximum budget at the moment is £250 for everything, which I think is probably not going to be anywhere near enough, so I'm looking for the best value for money I can get here. For reference, I live in the UK and would like to avoid having to deal with shipping things in from overseas as much as possible.
Since AK74s mags are straighter because they shoot 5.56, does this mean I should use more curved magazines for my 104 since the real steel shoots the hold old 7.62? For purely aesthetics ofc.
AK104 and AK105 are the same gun, the 104 fires 7.62 while the 105 fires 5.45. If you want it to be a 105, use straight mags. If you want 104, find some polymer 7.62 mags.

Let me know what you come up with. I'm going to get a few hopup parts and a mag pouch/harness + mids first then its time for VDV
I'm having some major issues right now, I pull the trigger and bb's don't come out. Feeding is working cause when I disassemble there is a BB in the hopup. My concern is the gearbox, putting my finger around the nozzle and firing produces really weak air, this is where my problem probably lies. The gearbox is too weak to push the bb's out of the hopup. Anyone know what's causing this?
open gb and check compression parts for damage
Evike took at least 2 weeks to ship every single one of my orders. And one time they shipped it to the wrong state (how you mix up MI and CT is beyond me)
well fuck looks like I won't get to play with it before my trip to seattle
Don't worry, it varies. My first gun (from Evike) took about a week to come in, and the day it did was the day I was leaving for vacation. Mind you, I live in Massachusetts, completely opposite of California. I had like 10 minutes to try it out then I had to leave it behind. All alone.
Oh yeah Ninja where exactly in Mass do you live?
Cape Cod The only field for me is right off a rotary by the canal.
Ah, the Cape. So hows Hyannis right now?
Same old, only thing I've noticed are a lot of Brazilians/Portuguese. For me it's just a place to go for the mall and other businesses in the area. and Burger King [editline].[/editline] Oh, and the Common Ground Cafe is the best thing ever.
Is that novelty shop on main street still up? [editline]15th March 2013[/editline] Also is the Cape full of seaweed all the time or does it just appear when I'm visiting during the summer?
Yeah, I've haven't been in there for a while but I pass it. Did you ever go to the Boarding House? I realized I haven't gone there in a while either...I need to go up there more often. If/when I have a go at building a longboard I'll probably get the wheels and shit there, that's where I got my Sector 9 board. [editline].[/editline] Usually there's a lot of it dried up on the beaches being washed in and out but there's more of it in the summer. Tastes great when you're in the water man And the erosion still continues [editline].[/editline] Woops derail, this is the questions thread.
Also crabs everywhere. God dammit I hate crabs. Also seaweed, that I also hate. And the Boston City Hall, ugliest building of the year all years.
shut the FUCK UP and take it to PMs because I can promise you that no one gives a shit
Also posting content after you get yelled at for shitposting is not justification for shitposting. Take out the middle man.
Also, not to rag on how you speak, but typing in memes and internet slang non-stop gets old. And when you don't get an answer to a question soon, don't keep reposting it. One more thing, when you post something and the page changes, don't repost it again just to make sure everybody saw it. Most of them aren't that great anyway. These are just little things though, I know you mean well.
Oh Great Ender, I summon thee! How's the WE M14? Looks pretty satisfying from your video. Just want to know if theres anything I should worry about.
I regret trading mine away, I miss mine. As nice as it is there are problems that can develop overtime. I'll list them in the order they happened. 1. Movement along the length of the gun happens between the barrel/receiver and the stock. Can be fixed with impromptu spacers, get creative with this. 2. Trigger box begins to split. The timing of this event varies from gun to gun. Mine failed in the first 4 months or so after heavy use. Other people have had theirs for over a year with no problem. What you will notice is the gun will not fire unless you pull the trigger much harder than you should. The problem is the 2 piece trigger box design. From the recoil the parts begins to separate and cause a few of the internal pieces to sit further away than they should. To fix this you need to buy the 1 piece RA Tech trigger box. Fair warning, this is the mostly costly part to replace (over $100, less than $200), but is well worth it in the end. After installation the gun performed fine and the stock wobble was fixed. 3. Bolt cover snapped off. Replaced mine with an overpriced RA Tech EBR bolt cover, but I think Evike has the stock covers for cheap. 4. Nozzle guide snapped. I think these are made of plastic. While zeroing my gun I noticed it wouldn't shoot. Checked the bolt, it had failed to return to the home position. The nozzle of the bolt had rotated while the gun was fired causing it not to seat properly when the bolt traveled back. Replaced it with RA Tech parts made of aluminum. Keep in mind this all took place over a year and a half or so that I had it. Never had my magazines leaks and performance was great. One of the few GBBR's I've owned that felt like it had an advantage at range over some AEGs. Some of the main reasons why I sold it was the weight and the stock. It's a bitch to lug this rifle around all day, especially if you got a scope mounted to it. For me the stock is uncomfortable and would hurt my wrist after a few hours of carry. If I could get a cheap stock with a pistol grip that would fit it, I might look into one again.
What are some good goggles to get for a glasses user? I was looking at these: http://www.airsoftpark.com/tactical-anti-full-goggle-glasses-w3pc-lens-p-3727.html http://www.airsoftpark.com/airsoft-tactical-x500-protection-goggles-black-p-1714.html http://www.evike.com/product_info.php?cPath=30_149&products_id=30640
I'm not sure about the goggles you posted, the second and third ones look big enough but don't take my word for them. You can get a good pair of ESS Land Ops on Ebay for around $20-30. I bought a pair of those specifically for wearing my glasses with and they fit snugly. They're a bigger pair of goggles than something like Desert Locusts or ESS NVGs so you get the benefit of a tiny bit of extra protection around your face and field of view. http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_trksid=p2050601.m570.l1313&_nkw=ESS+Land+Ops&_sacat=0&_from=R40 Look through there for what you want. I took a look and to me the best listing is this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/ESS-Land-Ops-Military-Safety-Goggles-OLIVE-w-Strap-NEW-ESS010V-MLSC-Ski-/310510786634?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_0&hash=item484be2984a New condition and it comes with everything (Goggles, clear lens, smoke lens, cloth lens bag, carrying bag, instruction book, and the sleeve on the headband). SWD Goggles also fit my glasses very well but I don't have the ANSI rated lens for it, so I can't wear it airsofting. If you do come across an ANSI rated pair (usually listed with the name ballistics), that's also a good option for you.
