There are many people in BF3 on PC that go "recon is not for sniping, it's called recon for reconnaissance".
Only reason I have a console is so I can play LAN with my friends or play MAME and shit with them.
Bleh, It's these fucking quick scopers that make me ashamed of being a console gamer sometimes.

That happends to be my mindset when i was playing Recon in BF3, Since i suck at sniping. Although "Reconnaissance" to me is "Running around like a twat with a shotgun"

Recon is FUCKING annoying. But I recognize them as essential to a team. Especially if the person is a great recon player and provides enemy positions as well as taking them out.

I really like real life guns in a game, lets me get away from other games guns... but it's true, the guns do seem to have a lot of bias in them.
Also, I suck at the game, mainly because I just... am so not used to a controller, but still can have fun.

Unless you are playing a sim then bullet physics in most shooters tend to be unrealistic because adding random dispersion and cone of fire is a lot easier than accurately modeling ballistic trajectories.
Also I've been called a hardscoper in HL2 mods. This shit isn't specific to CoD.

I don't know what hard scoping is but if its not allowed why did the developers put it into the game?
I played COD4 on my PC today. I found a server called Snipers/Shotguns. Tried sniping but I'm garbage so I switched to a shotgun and start killing everyone. I'm called a "spread pussy" and kicked. What the fuck

I don't get what all the fuss is about. If you're sniping and anybody complains about it, no big deal; you can just shoot them because YOU'RE ALREADY AIMING YOUR GUN AND THEY ARE NOT.
