Didn't they sort of allow all drugs in Portugal or something? And the results were looking good. I am for legalizing but not for smoking.

I'm personally all for legalizing it, but everyone in DD are a bunch of losers so I can see why it gets bad rep.

I'm more for decriminalizing it, not legalizing. Kind of the way alcohol is handled.

Because they're selfish and annoying. Selfish because the only thing they think is "Smoke smoke smoke"... they make a HUGE deal about it. And annoying because I effin' hate smoke (actually, I dislike cigarette smoke a lot more than joint smoke) and they hardly have the fucking manners to do it in places where they don't bother non-smokers. If it was up to me, tbh I'd legalize marijuana, but STAY THE FUCK AWAY from non-smokers. Nobody has to put up with your damn smoke. Same would go for cigarette smokers. And that's all I have to say about that.

I don't think any discussion in this thread will lead to consensus, many people have different experiences and opinions with/of cannabis. A lot of people will just do a random best guess without any experience or knowledge at all. My opinion is that as with alcohol and smoking tobacco, I believe that people can have the same responsibility to deal with weed. You could say the same of any other drug, but as far as I am concerned weed isn't as potent in fucking someone's life over as most other drugs are. Above all, if legalized please enforce the common courtesy to smoke cannabis in privacy- not in public.

In the end I dont care ether way. the less laws the better, people need more self control and less society telling them what they can or cant do.

Just chill the fuck out and smoke a bowl with me.

Not a cannabis user myself, but I'm all in favor of it becoming legal. Less burden on the prison system, fewer smuggling-related crimes, and a new source of tax revenue for the government. As long as there were restrictions on its use, and increased punishments for committing crimes while high, there's pretty much no downside to it.

My view is don't legalize it, but decriminalize it. Much better for both sides.

That's just solving half the problem, as possession won't be illegal but selling/supplying will be, meaning that organized criminal gangs will still profit heavily on the sale of cannabis. No, it should be completely legalized and regulated by the government (or corporations/business' if you Americans like that). Right now the number one source of income for criminal gangs is cannabis, if we could take that away from them it would deal them a major blow.
