There's honestly no reason not to try it at least once. It's not addicting and it doesn't have any negative externalities as far as effects go.
smoking weed is no more worse than smoking a cigarette although driving while high is a no no and I'm sure road side drug tests and such will be

The smell of someone smoking cannabis is much better then the smell of the regular cigarettes.
There'll be differing opinions on who likes the smell of second hand smoke and who doesn't- I doubt that anyone who doesn't smoke (cannabis or tobacco) will like the associated smell.
In my opinion of second hand smoking; the majority shouldn't adapt to the minority, it's just the question of who is who. I'm quite certain that if smokers aren't the latter already, they soon will be.
I say legalize it, but not because I agree with smoking it.
But if we control it and tax it, there's a chance it can do some good.
