Tomorrow is a new day and the grass is always greener on the other side. If you can live each day, then you can cope.
Hope you get better OP.
Oh yeah if it's a chick: the world revolves around you, not her.
My aunt had a major case of depression a few years back. Her daughter convinced her that she needed some professional help, so my aunt checked herself into a psychiatric hospital. She got out about a month later and now she's always happy.
So my suggestion is go to a psychiatric hospital, they can do wonders, especially with depression.
I wouldn't recommend weed to someone who suffers from chronic paranoia. THC can agitate paranoid behaviour.
Besides, if you need weed to have fun, there's something wrong with you.
OP, you should try making a list of everything you want to do right now. Make friends, go to a party, be more sociable, have an epic adventure, whatever you want to do. Every day, dedicate yourself to doing one item on the list. Prioritise that one thing. Once you do something on the list, cross it off and work on the next one.
I don't know what effects weed have on paranoia, I never had it, I was only depressed and it helped for me. It was certainly not the 'cure' for it, but it did contribute to it.
No one needs weed to have fun. However, it doesn't mean that weed can't contribute to having fun.
Working out actually does help a lot with depression, it works wonders actually. There is a reason that the western world has large incidents in depression*, just isolate your case of what is bothering you. Look at your personal issues as scientific malfunctions with your person, from an outside sort of standpoint.
The way you can fix yourself is to do things that will benefit your ORGANISM. Working out releases pheromones-- natural drugs released by your body that automatically will make you feel better. Claw yourself out of your wallowed up self, and get out and go do something. You have arms and legs, use those fucking things.
I had no use of either of my arms for a long time dude, Its awful to sit and think and think about it, fucking wretched. You need to get out of the house, go live somewhere else or go camping or some shit. Remove yourself from whatever present situation you are in, and you will notice changes..probably good ones at that.
If you're going to cut down this advice and say I don't know what I'm taling about, then fine. Just know that I've been through a lot of shit before, psychological trauma and depression, and I've clawed my way out of it. Just dont let yourself dwell, it's hard to do, b ut most depression is self inflicted no matter how much you think it isn't.
* -- A really big cause for depression IS a lack of excersise. It just releases things in the body that we, as humans require. It is easy to ignore when things in life are going fine, but you will notice a significant benefit from even just going for a light jog until youve got a sweat going. That is ideal.

It's a legitimate medical condition according to psychologists and they know a tad more than a 13 year old on the internet
Im gonna assume this depression involves a girl or that someone died. Fair assumption? Well im gonna go off this. As artzeponozae said, music. Music heals. Also, a positive attitude makes all the difference. You can get through anything bro.
It was a number of things all at once. Sort of like a quadrupal left hook that has left me locked in my room for nigh on 5 weeks now.
Also, I will agree with the music thing, but it's kind of hard when you have spotify and access to everything streamed. You end up listening to things like this:

Yeah shit happens so it might not be completely self-inflicted, but it often worsens because the depressed person doesn't know how to handle it. If he sinks into a hole, doing absolutely nothing, things DO get worse.
Also don't think that depression can be fixed with a pill only. The attitude of the patient is very important.
Being busy doesn't seem to help because at best that appears to be a distraction, a band-aid on a big wound. Sure I'm much more stable when I'm active, and when there are people I know and trust around, or when I'm at their houses, it's not so bad at all, but I have developed a distaste for going to sleep because that means I have a 30 minute gap where I can do nothing but think. And thinking is the last thing I want to do. I've taken to taking an assload of sleeping pills every night so I'm asleep within 2 minutes of my head hitting the pillow.
Going at a friendshouse and doing something there helped little for me. Going outside and doing things there with my friends did help a lot. A couple of my friends noticed that I was acting a little down lately and asked why I would never join them with cool shit. I said that they never actually asked me to come, and so the next time they did ask me. They were good at parcour (I found them really good), they helped me with basic stuff but I was never really good at it and gave it up pretty much. But it was a great thing, because I made some new friends and it was very fun to watch them do awesome shit.
But I can understand this might become more difficult because of the weather. In that case you can also have awesome moments if it snows.
What also is possible is to stay at a friends house for a weekend. You should stay up all night and do cool stuff together.
Maybe it sounds a bit childish. It isn't.
You should watch out with alcohol and stuff. If you are sure that you can control yourself, some alcohol can do cool things (I'm not talking about getting fucking drunk and not remembering anything the day after or anything remotely close to that). I have been at friend's houses some times and a few beers and shots can do cool things, like I always get more honest and have more courage to do and talk about things. Makes things a lot more fun for me.
Again I have no idea what it will do with you in your case. I suppose that if you can control yourself and are with a friend, you'll be ok.

Actually that's Manic Depression. One is psychological, and if my memory serves one is a dopamine deficiency.
Just to reiterate what someone said earlier, tell your doctor to fuck off if they recommended getting more sleep, eating "good fruits", or exercising more.
I went to the doctor for high anxiety and depression a week or so ago and she said all those things, and I HAVE been exercising, on a very good diet with lots of fruit, and I get more sleep than is needed and I still feel like absolute shit.
I'm sure if you find a free clinic and ask for pills, you'll get them.

Bipolar (manic depression) are entirely different, but both are recognized medical conditions.

Agreed, the sheer absence of retardation in this thread has actually left me a little surprised.
Whenever I'm feeling depressed I remind myself where I really am.

Go see a psychiatrist (preferably not a psychologist, who don't have full medical degrees, and can't prescribe you medication if you need it.) . They are pretty great people, they can help you get out of problems in no time.
I would say, figure out a way to let it out, but don't show it to anyone unless its REALLY fucking awesome.
Try to look on the bright side of everything, if you're feeling shit, then it can only get better and continue to think about things that make you happy. Then again, I only ever had some minor depression, so I dunno if this makes any difference to you, but it's worth a try.
Hope you get out of it though and continue to have a great life.

Remind yourself that no matter what's happening to you, chances are you have better living conditions, etc. than 95% of the world.
what ever you do, don't bottle up/hide your depression. and find someone you can talk to about whatever is on your mind.
in high school my parents had me go to a physiologist, waste of time and money. just talk stuff out with a close friend/someone you trust.
anti-depression pills should remain as a last resort, imo.

It's been scientifically proven that certain bacterial spores present in dirt help to release endorphins in the brain.
So try going for walks more often, OP.
Rules:
- Don't do drugs (you think they help... they really don't)
- Pills are good, but never ever take a thing called wellbuitrin (makes you more suicidal)
- No matter what the fuck you do... Just learn to be social, be active outside, and enjoy the things around you.
Too be honest dude. I've dealt with major depression before, and it does eat away at you, but the best way to do things is just to get up, and go.
Anyone who has stated...
Sleep
Food
Working Out
