it's depressing how pervasive this mindset is among young men. you'd think that in a society with widespread access to information and being mostly unrestricted by old taboos people would be more tolerant.
goes to show how much social anxiety and lack of human contact in general can negatively impact a person's ability to feel empathy. it only gets worse when one such person has access to the internet and can find similarly troubled people (for instance, the kind of people you're likely to find in facepunch) who will validate their behavior instead of helping through the exchange of ideas.
just take one look at r/mensrights or [URL="http://www.the-niceguy.com/forum/"]this forum[/URL]. doesn't take a psychologist to see how toxic this can be.

i'm just saying that for a term to be used ironically, it generally needs to be used unironically by another group. the ironic usage is done to make fun of the unironic group.

depends on geographic location and your methodology of comparing prices.
i believe it's often cheaper to buy healthy food as far as how much mass you get per dollar spent(i.e. a pound of vegetables is cheaper than a pound of chips). it's also significantly cheaper nutrient-wise. it's far more expensive calorie-wise though.
also fast food is a lot more expensive than home prepared food. you buy fast food because you are too lazy/tired/overworked/busy to cook the food yourself. you DO have to pay for convenience.
this is my own experience from buying food for myself.
