I've been before, don't make me come back, because I will.
I'm not sure I understand. Are M&M's a rare sight in murrica?
crispy M&Ms have all but disappeared from America

That's beside the point

They've been replaced by pretzel ones, which sound like they might be better, but are actually a bit worse. Those crispy ones are THE best.
We've got loads over here.
Apoc while my plane is flying over Europe I will parachute out and I will hunt you down for those.

I was content with the pretzel ones as a slightly inferior replacement, but now that I have genuine crispies within my grasp, it's time to stock up

Guys, I'm starting to get homesick. I miss my girlfriend, I miss my family, I miss my friends, I miss my airshit, I miss being surrounded by people who speak english, I miss being able to read signs without staring at them for 2 minutes, I miss sleeping in, lounging around, and just not doing stuff in general, I miss murrica QQ
Reenacting pays off again! I get to be in a 3-day movie shoot on a local beach for a Operation Overlord movie/D-day/Omaha beach. Not sure what the movie is, but I get paid $125+ per day, get to camp on site, and battle up Omaha beach 3 days in a row pretty much. Higgins boats included! Anybody unfamiliar with what I'm talking about, think the opening scene of Saving Private Ryan.
i just laughed so hard at a series of short youtube videos that i momentarily could not breath

You're totally gonna end up as one of those unimportant doubles who ends up being scooped up into stardom because of their devilish good looks in a uniform.
Hmm, land of the plastic guns
Currently using USAwifimachine to communicate
Time to see if I can find good surplus shops
Today was definitely a turning point. For breakfast I went to a US themed restaurant called Long Island, they had pictures murrica people on the wall, murrica themed drinks, and played murrica music. One of the songs came on that reminded me of my girlfriend. I seriously almost started crying(homesickness, in case you didn't read my previous post). But now I'm at the Louvre. My French is improving, I can navigate the metro almost as good as a Parisian, and Le Louvre is awesome. Gonna have dinner at the Eiffel Tower tonight, and tomorrow I might head out to Normandy(Vandy, are you actually there or just filming on some random beach?). Hopefully gonna see the Arc de Triomphe as well. yay getting over shit
The restaurant at the Eiffel Tower is really fucking expensive.
Good though.

As someone who's spent a lot of time overseas, you're at the worst of it right now. The most important thing is to be open to experiences that are different from what you're used to stateside. Try to immerse yourself in the culture and you'll acclimate more quickly, learn more, and just generally be a lot less miserable than if you try clinging to familiar elements.
Man I wish I could go to murrica some day. So far I've been to Germany, Turkey and Egypt.
Also a couple of days in Spain and France, because of a trip I've taken on a freight ship my dad was working on.
AKA: I JUST WISH I WENT SOMEWHERE WHERE I COULD SPEAK ENGLISH AND EVERYONE WOULD UNDERSTAND
I wish I could go to a foreign country that wasn't murrica. I've been there twice already, once to Las Vegas and once to some town in Montana so I could go to Walmart and buy murrica food.

did I do good?
No. I mean. It's not bad, but tanto edges are really more of a gimmick, plus it takes a little extra work when sharpening to maintain that edge. Next time, with something like CRKT, Spyderco, Kershaw, or if you can spare extra, maybe a Benchmade.

I kinda hate you a little. No, a lot. But its a brotherly kind of hate, I promise.
Today I got something awesome AGAIN from my grandmother! A M-1952A Flak Jacket, made in 1954. Its in super good condition and I'm pretty sure I'll be using it for airsoft. Its just a bit big for me
Jesus Christ, what did I even do?
So one of my best friends has been on vacation for a couple weeks in Virginia, and she got back last week. Today I asked her if she wanted to get lunch or something since we haven't talked in a couple weeks. Her response is that I should stop talking to her because I'm annoying, creepy, and clingy. I really don't know what I did, I literally have not talked to her in nearly a month.
Just needed somewhere to vent a bit.

If I were you I'd just not do anything until she contacts you. You don't know what's going on with her, if she's upset about something else she'll reach out to apologize.
I just realised that my grandfathers flak jacket was what he wore when flying in vietnam
and he flew agent orange tankers back to the mainland
so it may be agent orange contaminated
yay, Brain Cancer! (which is what my grandfather died from)
I wonder how real the danger is, as far as the contamination goes
i found a very small tick on my cat
[t]http://i1336.photobucket.com/albums/o644/dwt110/null_zps2825bcff.jpg~original[/t]
stupid annoying fuckers. i can't tell which I hate stumbling upon more, house centipedes or ticks
I wonder how real the danger is, as far as the contamination goes
Agent orange affects people in different ways, my boss is a Vietnam vet, seasoned veteran too, went to nam twice, said he would've gone back a third time but the recruiter said he needed to get back home because when the recruiter asked him why he wanted to go back he replied "I'm not done killing yet", he has no real problems, besides being old.
I was tested for Agent Orange when I was born because my father was a helicopter pilot and gunner in Vietnam.
