make sure your filter doesn't have lead or asbestos in it!!
According to my dad, its coal-based. Anyway I don't plan on using it.
Should be safe but GP5s sometimes come with olde filters so I wouldn't touch it
I went to look at a new truck today, by new I mean used but new to me. It looked good from the road but god damn the guy was a prick, obviously white trash from talking to him over the phone. He tried to feed me bullshit about "no current issues, no past repairs" done to this 13 year old truck.
So I went today and immediately noticed a crack in the frame worse than my truck and held together with zipties.
Who the fuck wouldn't notice/look at something like that? Did he think I wouldn't notice and give him the $2500 he was asking? The thing is barely worth scrap.

Except pretty much all handgun rounds have hardly any felt recoil when fired from a rifle/carbine. Source: I've fired various rifles/carbines in .357 mag, .44 mag, .45 LC, .45 ACP, 9x19, and .40 S&W.
I can't speak for .270 though, never fired it.

.44 mag is still a pistol round. If that bruises you, I'd hate to see your reaction to a Mosin-Nagant, Enfield, or Springfield.
Hardest I've shot was a 7,52x51 out of a Vepr rifle, 12ga slugs outta Mossberg Maverick and 8mm Mauser from a sporterized Kar98
I've decided I'm buying myself a new Toyota Tacoma.
So I'm going to be on a spending freeze forever. But I realize I'll never be happy with another vehicle.
Has to be a Tacoma. 01-03ish. 4WD, Automatic, Double-Cab with a plastic bed liner and no frame damage.
My most optimistic estimate is $5000~ away from one. So 10 weeks if I don't spend any money and work my ass off. Easier said than done.
So I purchased my first gun two days ago. Today, my car decides to make strange noises and start vibrating.
THANKS CAR YOU COULD HAVE DONE THAT LAST WEEK YOU P.O.S.

Automatic? Nyet
Automatic? Nyet
For big pickup trucks, automatic is not a bad idea, otherwise I'd agree with you.

Isn't that why cowboys used repeaters and weapons like that? It was like firing a pistol but a lot easier on horseback?
I think wearing just a T-Shirt and having somewhat bony shoulders contributes to it

Unless you're gonna be racing, it's up to nothing but "do i want to deal with shifting a lot" or not.
If he wants to have one less thing to do while driving, let him be that way.
The whole Automatic vs. Manual argument is so drained
but burnouts to annoy your friends

Everyone who could take a rifle over a pistol did so, since they're a lot easier to reload, are quicker to shoot, and are much more accurate. Revolvers weren't quite as ubiquitous in real life as they are in fiction, their mystique comes from the fact that they were owned and used by people who wanted to carry a gun on them at all times, like in town, so it was more a mark of vigilantes, police, and outlaws than a common weapon. Most people who owned weapons used carbines, shotguns, and rifles as ranch guns, or derringers for self-defense.
They also used pistol caliber lever guns because they only have to carry one type of ammunition for their pistol and their rifle. Also, lever guns are the shit and I love my grandfather's .30-30 which my father recently pawned.
Automatic? Nyet
I can drive standard but I don't like it. In general I usually spend so much time paying attention to shifting and working the clutch that I don't notice things happening in traffic. And idling on hills and shit is fucking torture.
I'm sure with practice I would be a pro, but I just want an automatic. I prefer it, it's one less thing I need to worry about considering I'm already a bad driver.
I also talked to my Mom about it. She'll co-sign with me so I can build credit when I get some cash saved up and we'll take a look at my Savings and see what I have in there.

You do realize that I was agreeing with his decision right? Manual transmissions are pretty uncommon in trucks for a reason, the automatics often do the job better.
i was tired of the PMs asking for source
so i made a new avatar
