I'm sorry that not all of us can be so well adjusted socially that we can just go somewhere and instantly make friends and have bitches lining up to suck our dicks.

To be honest you're complaining that you're not being coddled.

I think I have a new favorite youtube channel.
Senior year. Late arrival and dual early leave. Yay.

You just recently got settled in your dorm right? Start talking to people since everyone just got back from their summer vacations, there's loads to talk about with someone. If you just greet them as an introduction kind of thing you can get a conversation going and you're already on your way to making friends. If you overhear a group of people talking about something that you can relate to/have thoughts on or whatever, join in, and they'll listen to you. If it's a group of people that talk with each other often, that's kind of like a ticket back into their group to talk more. Keep talking with them and you'll probably befriend them and they'll want to hang out with you more or something. Just be involved in things. Basically what I'm saying is just look for opportunities to talk with people (See somebody that could use help? Walk over to them and lend a hand.), you can't just wait for them to come to you. Nobody makes friends instantly. Talk to people more often and you'll discover stuff you have in common with them.
If you keep waiting you're only making it harder for yourself. Everyone in this section has been supporting you for a while, you can't brush off their advice with the excuse "Eh, there's nothing for me to talk about, it won't work, there's no hope for me.". I'm sure everyone here would be pretty proud of you if you made a post next week or something saying you finally met some new people to hang out with. Set a small goal, and reach it. Small steps.

I have yet to name her, but I'm leaning toward Todd.
Okay halfway through the first day. I can already tell this year is going to be absolutely amazing!
fuck school
6 days out of 180
suffering
pain
death
I graduated a year ago and I couldn't be happier.
I finished school 3 years ago and actually miss how relatively easy and laid back things were compared to work.
So I was hanging out with one of my roommates from last year who's a resident assistant in the first year dorms and some girl from his floor smiled and waved at me. Me being the social retard I am, I didn't even act on that.

Did you smile and wave back, atleast?

I smiled, didn't wave though.

But nope, im not like Taep, I'm well socially adjusted and can make friends. He has it so hard :downs:

The ones who are the hardest on me just so happen to be the most socially successful people in this forum though. I don't mind when you're hard on me because I'm aware how much worse you have it.
I go back to school Thursday.
And then I work 6-10 but at least I have some time in between to do some work and shit.

I only get annoyed when people are trying to help you and you shut them out completely. Otherwise, I'm inclined to say you're a pretty nice and likable person.
My roommate from last year who I'm roommates with again has a girlfriend now and he's always out with her. As for the other two, one is more antisocial than me and the other also has a girlfriend who he's constantly out with.
Yeah, I'm going to have a tough time socializing with people this year.
long day in cross country. come home at 5:30, 15 minutes setting phone up before dinner. eat dinner. take "short" nap wake up at 7:30
sheeeit
I still have homework (AP Calc, AP Environmental, AP Lit, AP Gov)
Those latter 3 are going to be easy, AP Gov is going to be super fun, but my god Ap Calc feels like a repeat of my physics troubles from last year. And since I'm going for an engineering degree, I really need that class, and the other math classes in my school are either pointless or essentially reviews of freshmen math
frick
I couldn't be happier that I'm out of High School. Fuck that shit, I would never go back and even the hardest day of unloading trucks at 3AM is easier than a typical day of High School. So glad I'm out and going to college is entirely an optional thing to me.
Fuck the education system.
on the other hand, there's me enjoying my senior year being happy
there's some serious HS hate around here that doesn't entirely make sense to me. it's a time in which it's still socially acceptable to sit on your parents' cash while you bumble around doing nothing important in particular and generally not worrying yet. I wish i'd realized this sooner than last year.
Are you kidding me? High school was fucking awful. The public school system did little to nothing to educate me. All it did was irritate me with all the arbitrary rules and emphasis on blind obedience of the faculty.
I appreciate that you don't have any empathy for anyone else and can't seem to understand that not everyone found HS the most enjoyable moments of their lives.
What an appropriate use of the dumb rating.
dropping my hs pe class tomorrow
they completely broke it this year
from a bunch of shit that i was actually interested in two identical classes, one for first semester, one for second semester, with absolutely no variety and incredibly boring activities
grades are dependent on heart rate monitors that don't even function (as in it read me as doing 70 bpm after a few minutes of jumping jacks what)
I'm absolutely hating junior year so far, swamped with homework every night plus marching band rehearsals. I think I'm gonna take it easy next year.
Not digging first year of college. General ed blows, I want my math and science now breh

I got to take mostly courses that relate to my major in my first year.
