Deli lyfe v.10 let's share our life problems edition because apparently we're all miserable

So today was a good day for my 3D printer. I did the following
- Fixed X carriage wobble
- Fixed Z wobble (I think)
- Redid some wiring
- Added spool holder (which is glorious, I shall never return to the hellspawn that is coiled filament!)
- Fixed X-axis belt tension
- Attempted to start leveling bed so I can actually start prints remotely
Things to do:
- Wait for my new stepper driver to arrive because I shorted one DAMNIT
- Really level bed
- Fix Z endstop being too low and causing nozzle to smash into bed
- Reattach cooling fan to power plugs
- Redo power wiring so its not a short waiting to happen
- Print a fan duct
- Print new Z-bottoms
- Finish wiring cleanup and resolder thermistor to hotend
and many other things. But I've been making progress! This time I didn't just cobble the machine together as fast as possible, I've been taking my sweet time. Still pissed about shorting the stepper driver though

oh and forgot
- Install OctoPi on my Raspberry Pi so I can use SSH to control, monitor, and observe my printer over the interwebs
- Start printing things for real this time! :D
Check engine light came on in my truck. Code is for an O2 sensor. I hate that code, I drove my old Taco for two years with the check engine light on because those O2 sensors burn out faster than a Thai hooker and I stopped fucking with them after awhile. Only time it mattered was when inspection was coming up because you need them to pass in NY and CA (the only two to my knowledge)
At least I still have a warranty from the Dealer so Monday I'll figure out when to get it fixed and bring it back. He has a stockpile the the sensors. The back drive side door doesn't lock either, so maybe he can look at that.
The guy I bought it from is pretty cool. Russian guy who ONLY deals in Toyota trucks and cars. Bought my previous Taco for $1000 which to be fair was more than we expected, we were going to let it rot in my Father's yard.

WHAT? It's on Netflix? I JUST watched it.
If you don't watch Anime at all, I literally cannot think of a better one than Planetes to start with. No weaboo shit, period. The right blend of comedy, serious shit and animation, a little love plot thrown in there and a couple of storylines to follow. Very, very good series. Relatively realistic too.
Okay, maybe Cowboy Bebop would be a good one too but most people have seen that already. Planetes is excellent.
if you can handle the blatant fanservice that is Yoko, i always suggest TTGL because it is and always will be the best anime

Just dumped $1600 on computer parts. This is gonna be guuuud
Damn CNC machines cost like a million dollars. Making one looks possible but not without going through a lot of trouble.
We have a ShopBot in the woodshop at school but I don't have the time to learn how to use it during or after school. So far the only thing I've used it for is short router jobs like sound-hole inlays, but those were easy enough to do with just a regular router and template last year.
If you're talking literally, the CNC I have access to is about $55,000 before tools, so I think a million is a bit off the Mark :v:
The best "affordable" and respectable "CNC" I can think of is the Prolight 1000 Mill, but it doesn't have a very large workspace.
And I'm still trying to model a guitar body to carve out with the small one that my school has.

I'm also finally in another new job tommorow. 3 months of work for $8,000. I'm going to get the beastiest of the computers.
THE CROSMAN WORKS
Sounds like a normal AEG.. should I be afraid? And what crazy paintjob should I go with? I have lots of primary colors, gold, and silver to work with. I am thinking America gun in red, white, and blue.

If I just painted some parts red, blue, white, etc. It would probably look like some anime shit. I wonder how I could incorporate stars and stripes into it.

Reach For The Dead, Hi Scores and 1969 are ones I've found myself listening to quite a bit. I have yet to listen to alot of their other songs but I'll definitely be doing so.
Well this is all ambient and chill electro and electrorock, so you might like Shlohmo and Flying Lotus.

The only alternative qualification to let you post here besides playing airsoft is that you must survive trial by the IFAP Pit of Snakes.
