I mountain biked while talking to my helmet camera about bike pedals and whatnot and the file is corrupted so now I just talked to myself about things while biking for no reason haha

I'm about to die. For homework tonight, we had to: 1. do a big packet of physics stuff in preparation for a test. 2. read an 8 chapter book for German and answer questions about it. 3. do a trigonometry worksheet. 4. prepare for an AP chemistry test. 5. do an APUSH DBQ which involves finding 8 of our own documents, as well as a large workbook assignment, a packet of worksheets, and a project due Monday. I've never felt so crushed in my life.
class assignments for apush are the most useless thing ever when it comes to the actual test
Doing my DBQ right now :)
Oh, ours is "Discuss the development of the US Constitution as a document which ensures popular sovereignty." The hardest part is finding the documents to use for it.
I did absolutely no practice essays in APWH but got A's on every test and got a 5 on the exam. One of my exams was on the green peace and I dont even know what that was.
Why does the American school system insist on drowning kids in homework? I literally never got homework in high school.
Why does the American school system insist on drowning kids in homework? I literally never got homework in high school.
there's your answer
most of the people that talk about school in this thread are taking 6 AP classes and an extra period for good measure. The American schooling system is so, so, SO inconsistent across so much as individual cities it's ridiculous. Insane even. Our schooling system is stupid but it's not stereotypically one thing or the other as far as workloads go, which is a trait on its own really. Tuition here is hilariously dumb too, and the sheer amount of highly competitive students trying to get into colleges is becoming insane. There's not a single adult I've talked to about college that has refrained from mentioning about how much easier it was 20-30 years ago. I REALLY would like to finish my French education here and move to France or something. I'm doing applications for (US) colleges right now and it's an absolute shitshow, but I really have no idea what it is I'll be doing.
Today I didn't even have to use my AK I got to say it was a [sp]lewd[/sp] day

Overall average from high school greater than 65%? Congratulations, you're qualified to attend a good university. No excessive workload, no AP classes (which my high school was too shitty to even offer when most other schools in my province do)
Uh, you guys realize he's talking about college? College is a shitton of work outside class no matter where you go, it's designed to shift the focus onto personal research and study rather than listening to teachers ramble for eight hours a day. You have a ton of homework because you won't learn anything useful with just 15 hours a week of class.
what where is anyone complaining about college homework since when were there AP classes in college or cardfan attending one
I can't wait for senior year, gonna take it nice and easy. Still a semester and a half to go though. High school junior. 8 hours of lecturing with 8 hours of homework is not how a day should be.

I only have slightly more homework in college then I did in high school, and that's not saying much.
yep we need bad reading back
what where is anyone complaining about college homework since when were there AP classes in college or cardfan attending one
Taep said he never got homework in high school implying he's getting more homework in college and you pointed out that it's the American school system when really that has nothing to do with it, it's just college and lots of work outside of class comes with the territory unless you're investing in a useless degree Edit: I thought Taep is going to an American university? Or is that someone else?
