I feel like I should talk about the time I met Crosman's R&D team and test fired some of their weapons...
Go on
Go on
So they came out to an OP my team was hosting at our field, mainly because one of our guys writes reviews for Crosman weapons. So they drive up in this giant pickup truck, loaded to the brim with ammo, little gifts, new pistols and rifles. They set up a range on field, so people can look at see at what they're developing. I walk up, a see a revolver. Now, it takes CO2, as most Crosman pistols do, and all I can think is that this is a rebranded WinGun revolver that fires at sniper-like FPS. Sure enough, I put a couple shells in it, start cranking off a few rounds, and they're chrono'ing at around 480-500 FPS. One of the Crosman guys says "Think it would be good for a field?" "Yeah, sure, if I could attach a sniper scope and bipod to it, because it's way too hot to use as a sidearm, especially when we have close quarter engagements." Then that have this like, Glock, P99, Frakengun mixture, new to their "Zombie Apocalypse" series. To be honest, it was pretty solid to shoot, but, once again, CO2. Then we have a sniper rifle. L96-ish I think, and it was nothing special. Pretty good for if you're just getting into the airsoft scene, but not as a seasoned player. Then my favourite of the bunch: Their answer to the HK416. It's closely resembling the 416, without having to put HK's dick in their mouth to release it, but holy shit is this thing flimsy. I mean, it had an LE stock I swear was made from oven baked Play Doh, so I told them to put at least a sturdy crane stock on it, you know, something strong enough to when I shoulder it, it won't fall apart like a Transformer with down syndrome. Then they ask some players if they want to use them during the op. Naturally, a few of the younger kids (the Call of Dooty: MW3, Black Cops 2 types), eagerly clamor to get one. So I'm on the field (being an admin for this round), and I start hearing these things fail and jam, with less than a thousand rounds through them. We open them up back at the staging area, and sure enough, pistons that have swiss cheesed themselves, shredded gears, and jams galore. So now Crosman has made the promise to equip all their rifles with better internals after seeing them fail so quickly. Hopefully they do this soon. The kids afterwards picked up their original guns (Dick's Sporting Goods weapons, no joke), and play through the rest of the game happy. [editline]26th November 2013[/editline] Oh yeah, they gave us zombie play cards and ammo as a sign of appreciation. We used the cards as targets, and myself and a friend through our tomahawks at them trying to stick them in trees.
1st grade: i was a tree and i couldn't take the heat (from the lights) so i walked off stage.
I used to play little league and I was put in right field all the time. One time during a game I got hungry, walked off the field, went to the stands, asked my mom for money, and bought a hotdog. I walked back out onto the field with it and ate it afterwords.
Accidentally disassembled my AK's fire control group and holy hell is it hard to put that pin lock spring back in. I am so stoked to go shoot it this Friday.

And we're talking an op in mountainous terrain.

A buncha people got specific roles to make it as if we were doing an actual play. While everyone else was saying their parts in an ultra-boring monotone sorta way... one time in history class i stood up on my desk and said "i dislike minorities" and right as i finished saying minorities my (mexican) teacher walked through the door way

While everyone else was saying their parts in an ultra-boring monotone sorta way... I BURST OUT WITH EFFORT AND SHIT AND ENTERTAINED EVERYONE WHO WAS BORED AS FUCK!
I always did this in my english class. We read Caesar,Oedipus, and some other stuff and I always read the parts with bursting enthusiasm. Biggest part I ever got in Drama was either Buffalo Bill in Annie Get Your Gun, or Lennie in Of Mice and Men (but we never actually went through with putting on the play which was my fault and I still feel really bad about it to this day). Other than that I got more into the crew and set building side of it later on. The best set we worked on was probably Legally Blonde, because we just built so much cool shit. We had to build an RV, a mock lecture hall with pews, and the coolest thing was a 15ft staircase. I also built the entire set for Of Mice and Men by my self, which admittedly wasnt much, but still fun. I built a dual-sided flat, one side was painted to be the inside of the barn and the other was painted to be the inside of the bunkhouse where all the workmen slept. Then I also a stand alone screen door that was to be the door of the bunk house. I also worked on lighting and sound and other stuff . It was a lot of fun and I felt really guilty when I had to leave because of my medical issues, because I had had the same drama teacher since 6th grade and he was a really good friend and I pretty much let him down when I had to have Of Mice and Men cancel and then I just left the school entirely. I'd go and visit the school and say hi, but I dont even know if he works there still. I remember he was going to retire shortly after my class graduated.

Parts of the Forest Temple theme are actually Link's screams sped up iiirc On the same note, I just finished A Link Between Worlds and holy shit that was a good game. After the story setup and the first dungeon, the game marks the other dungeons on the maps and sets you loose. I loved the freedom I got in exploring the overworld before needing to tackle the dungeons, which were really well designed, but somewhat quick to beat.

Just saw the new Red Dawn. I uh...I actually really liked it. I liked the original too for pretty much the same reasons, although this one was a lot less patriotic and had a lot better shooting sequences. Technically speaking they got a surprising amount of things right (and a few casual things wrong). It's just weird because it felt like they intentionally tried to make it as short as possible. That's pretty much the only thing that felt wrong about it, I felt cheated almost. 1 hour 33 minutes when it could have easily been 30-40 minutes longer. The director also left open space for a Red Dawn 2, leaving it feel like nothing was really wrapped up. They didn't cash in on the whole badass-insurgents part nearly enough.

I think you would really like it. Its basically Zelda with hack n slash combat
You mean the COOKIES W/ PAN COATED CHOCOLATE DISKS?
No, like this Except I cheated and used a microwave and a bowl instead of a canteen lid and a lighter. It actually tasted surprisingly good, like any normal peanut butter cookie, except getting the stuff off my bowl was a pain in the ass after.
