I hate bronies who are like that just as much as anyone else

I feel like homestuck is the most cancerous
I used to think that nerd stereotypes like Big Bang Theory were exaggerations, caricatures, and that people like that don't really exist. Then I got to my college, a tech school, where I learned my error. It has slowly embittered me until I now feel nothing but quiet loathing when I see people like the guy who only wears a purple shirt, purple leggings, and a Twilight Sparkle hat (who is in several of my classes), or the legions of fedoras prowling campus, or the neckbeards who can not ever shut up about League and stink up the labs with their unwashed body odor. And the Homestuck cosplayers. Oh no. Then I met Timebomb, who has all the tolerance and understanding of a medieval inquisitor on a witch hunt and makes me look like Gandhi by comparison. At this point, airsoft provides wonderful therapy, because all we need to see is one '20% COOLER THAN YOU' patch on a uniform and then it's go time for the flamethrower.
Honestly the homestucks are kinda autistic but they've really done a lot. As a whole they've donated a lot to charities, have programs helping members of the community suffering from depression. I mean there are still the bad ones. But for the most part meh. Not superwholocks.
I like Dr. Who and Sherlock, never seen Supernatural. Am I bad? I have Tennant's screwdriver.
My mom is obsessed with Tom Hiddleston as Loki to the point where she has shrines around the house of Loki stuff, and she also has a Loki body pillow and Loki jewelry that she wears. I like to fuck with her though because Johnny Weir looks just like Tom Hiddleston, and that fact annoys the shit out of her [editline]5th January 2014[/editline] Just bringing it up makes her mad, so its great to bomb her with it after she insults as she does
I like Dr. Who and Sherlock, never seen Supernatural. Am I bad? I have Tennant's screwdriver.
I enjoyed both Supernatural and Sherlock, Sherlock moreso, but Dr. Who doesn't interest me. So, I'm not sure.
I like Dr. Who but it's not very well made, or at least wasn't until the two latest seasons. It has a nice theme so that saves it from a lot of flak I might otherwise give it. I've talked about the difference between liking things and thinking they're good with a lot of people, probably mentioned it in this thread. Sherlock is just good. Like I mean fandoms are one thing, and it really bothers me that people think fandom = everyone who likes something, but there's really not much to argue with there. It helps that Sherlock is done in movie-length sections, so I don't know if that means they have way more production time or what but that might explain it. Might also be because sci-fi shows usually suffer from budget problems, because space ships n shit are proprietary sort of things and CG is expensive (Dr. Who isn't sci-fi but it has all the same problems as one), and Sherlock is a relatively easy thing to shoot for. But yeah fandom != whole fanbase, and even then Dr. Who, Sherlock, and Supernatural fandoms aren't so bad since they're like 80% a tumblr thing and it's really not difficult to avoid people on tumblr.
one of the who fangirls in my grade wrote a review about day of the doctor for english class and the first half was literally just hating on moffat for ruining who with his EVUL MISOGYNIST LIES
Nawh, I understand because 98% percent of the Supernatural fanbase is just bad. I think Homestuck is an exception because whilst it's not the whole fandom that's cancer, it IS the larger majority.
I dont consider myself part of any fandoms but I enjoy reading MS Paint Adventures (not just Homestuck), and Ive also watched the first season of Supernatural. Whenever I see people with Homestuck clothes or hats or whatever, I give them a wide berth and make a point never to speak to them (usually because the are gross and smelly) I guess I just dont advertise my interests unless asked. (except Dune. Fuck yeah Dune)
I haven't met anybody who watches Supernatural that isn't a teenage girl. What even is it?
two brothers and their dad fight supernatural monsters i guess is the easiest way to describe it. its pretty good.
Only Ryan Gosling
him too they're very nice and swell people, and good looking to boot!
well this got uncomfortable! how is life for all of you!
I didn't eat yesterday until like 8:30, and when I don't eat, this thing happens where my extremities go numb and I can't see. Anyways, was generally feeling like shit last night, so I went to bed early. Woke up at 5 am, when my usually time going to sleep is like 3 am. Odd feeling.
There is so much snow here. Also it's really cold. I'm gonna go build a massive snow fort.

I don't know if it's just the fact that I've been exposed to the annoying parts of the fanbase, but every time I try watching an episode (seen a couple each of Tennant and Smith) the character of the doctor himself really bugs me with what comes across as forced 'LOL SO RANDUM' personality. I mean yeah the plots seem kinda cool but it's like transplanting Ford Prefect from the Hitchiker's Guide into Star Trek and then trying to play it straight. It's just jarring.

I started off by creating patted-down walls, but that was too time consuming and didn't make the walls big enough. I then just started to shovel out and make big fluffy walls. It's actually pretty cozy in there, very little of the wind gets you. [t]https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/34238144/snow%20fort.jpg[/t]
Speaking of Dr. Who fangirls, is it weird that the only people I know IRL who like Dr. Who are all girls?
No. The majority of the time I worked at Gamestop, all of my coworkers were females that were diehard fans of Dr. Who. It was a goddamn nightmare.

I just watched The Road. That was a really tough movie for me to watch
My problem with Hawken is if I wanted to play an arcade FPS I'd play one that doesn't pretend it's a mech game.
I couldn't have phrased that better. Grind is also really annoying me with every new online game. I enjoyed the betas for Planetside 2, World of Tanks, War Thunder, Hawken, Mechwarrior Online, and a couple of others going farther back, but then they release and suddenly it's pay money or grind, grind, grind for anything useful. I won't say I preferred the days of monthly fees, but something like the TF2 model is much more fun than 'you're not premium, so your repair costs equal your winnings, have fun', especially when most of these games aren't MMOs in the conventional sense and don't have anything like the same upkeep or content to explore.
Warframe is the only F2P game i've ever been able to enjoy grinding. It doesn't take half as long as I found in others and it's pretty enjoyable to boot. There's no straight up "better" weapons/warframes per say or any PvP so you can pretty much go for whatever you want or whatever that you find enjoyable without worrying about falling behind compared to people who buy everything. In addition to the fact they very regularly add in "story" content, new gamemodes, new maps and all that jazz without it being behind a premium wall. Like being in PS2 and lacking decent flares and rocket pods for your aircraft will literally end you regardless of your skill. And it takes a good couple of hours to even get half way to getting a decent weapon. [editline]6th January 2014[/editline] I could never want to enjoy the end game of the World of series or war thunder because you're just gradually getting in better and better tanks/planes while everyone around you has roughly the same stuff until eventually you've all got the best stuff in the game and there's literally no point in progressing. Like no end game goals to reach or fun stuff you can still do with your friends. I think that's the real problem with all of the grinding games of late.
