My APUSH teacher last year was p. awesome. 6 hour reviews the day before the AP exam was awesome. He also came in an hour early the day of every test and had a review. Never wrote any DBQs. Just did outlines and discussed em with class. Did a metric fuckton of vocab though and he basically drilled us with that. Worked pretty well too. Most of my class got 4s and 5s on the test.
Yeah, he just gives us heaps of busy work, a bunch of projects, and a ton of books and just says "Do it." He doesn't give us any sort of actual teaching, and pretty much everyone dislikes him.
The latest thing though is we had to do a political symbolism evaluation of The Wizard of Oz. I thought, ok, if we back up our opinion then he won't have any problem. Nope. If our ideas were different from his, it was wrong. No backing up to save you.
I had a Govt. teacher last year who was that way. We had an assignment to find an existing law and make a case to change or remove it. One group's idea was to make a case for the removal of laws against marijuana. Perfectly legitimate, it's happening in Colorado and Washington right now. The teacher gave them a straight zero because they "were being immature and ridiculous". I saw the presentation and it was completely serious, the teacher literally just gave them a zero because he disagreed. Did the same thing with three or four other groups too.
civic track car..? ff is generally shit for track, with a few special exceptions of course
For drag racing yes but for tracks with a lot of turns lightweight ff cars are easy to setup for great handling. [editline]9th February 2014[/editline]
Civics are shit for everything except being left stock and running forever. If you want a cool Honda you get a Prelude or CRX.
Cool Hondas are the s2000 and NSX lol.
Cool Hondas are the s2000 and NSX lol.
S2000's are like almost Mazda Miata's, they're good but not cool, and the NSX is like a 10/10 but I don't think they're in college kid price ranges since they normally cost more than a 4 year degree.
On Friday, we watched the olympics opening at my school and during the Russian national anthem, this idiot stood up and went "ching chong ching chong gey asian rushins lolol" and I wish right then, a Kill001 would charge in with a AK w/ bayonet and shank him through the head banzai
After watching the skating bits and seeing Putin smile for practically the first time after Russia got a gold medal and what not I changed my FP profile picture to him. I need help.
why did youtube remove "top comments". Google has some of the worst web developers ever, outside of their search engine department, and yet they're one of the most powerful companies on earth. It's frustrating.

The same monkeys that you're supposed to talk to when you see an error page are the monkeys running the Youtube portion of the Google offices... Edit: On a side note, I was very disappointing to find that I couldn't upload a gif I made of the phases of Putin as my avatar. From Happy -> Smile -> Irritated -> Disapproving.

Duh, it's black. What else would it be?
Is that a Famas?
no do not do this here please
Was really unhappy with how I couldn't see shit with my stock bulbs, so I went to Advance Auto. (Eventually I want to get projectors or proper HID's but that's muuucccchhhhh later, so this'l hold me over for now.) And there was a grounding problem with the driver side headlight and it was dim. The passenger side foglight needed to be mounted correctly because the mount was broken and the bulb inside needed to be replaced. Before: After (Apologies for the shit picture, i'll take a better one tomorrow.): I can see to forever now.
For drag racing yes but for tracks with a lot of turns lightweight ff cars are easy to setup for great handling.
not compared to FR cars in the same class Partly because during acceleration, the vehicle's weight is shifted to the back, which unloads the front wheels and results in less traction; less traction on drive wheels = less power, etc Also there's always that inherent understeer when your drive axle is the same as your steering axle, despite the weight of the engine being placed right over the driving wheels in the FR setup. The front wheels have to handle the traction of both your steering and acceleration. So if you quickly accelerate during a tight corner, you have less traction to steer, and you end up with understeer! (if the topic interests you, read about Audi's quattro system, it's basically an attempt at retaining all the traction bonuses in shitty conditions of an FR setup, without all the power loss) While with FR, you accelerate too much during tight turns, you end up with oversteer as the rear wheels lose traction and slip out, and you pull a sick nasty dorifuto around the corner. Also during heavy acceleration, the weight of the vehicle actually shifts ONTO your drive wheels, which means more traction, and effectively more power. Which is the reason more "sportier" cars run fr setups (ie s-chassis', mark II's and related, most of BMW's M-series.. practically every cool race car ever, excluding the higher end cars with AWD setups obv) Also the only really "cool" hondas are S2000's and NSX, both of which are technically fmr and also why the miata is kind of dope, because it's so damn small and light, but it also runs an FR setup, so it's basically the low-budget king of auto cross

But there are things you can setup to reduce understeer in FF cars. Such as more front camber, wider front wheels, larger rear sway bar. Torque steer is just gonna happen with ff cars and most people just learn to control it. I'm not saying ff cars are gonna be destroying FR cars of similar weight(hell, even heavier in a lot of cases) I'm just saying that FF can handle well. This is why a lot of people with FF cars take their cars to autox and track days and still do well. I was planning on doing simple track days but couldn't because all the tracks were too far away. And I was wasting money turning an economy car into a track car when I really just needed an economy car.

FUCK YEAH ^
Sooo, sitrep. My left testicle is gone and currenly undergoes histopathological examination. The results should come in around two weeks. Currently I'm feeling fine, except that I can barely walk. That's okay when you have a 13 cm scar on your groin. God that was boring. Thank god my mom brought me my laptop so I could watch Game of Thrones and play some shit, but there still wasn't much to do because no internets (as you might tell) This was the view outside my window: What the actual fuck, I live in Chernobyl.

Uh... nope? How would that even work, I've no idea. Of course, I can go full retard and agree for a prosthetic testicle. My dad keeps talking about it, but FUCK IT'S FIVE THOUSAND PLN (just over $1600). I'd be more happpy if I could just have the money and do whatever the fuck I'd want with it. Having just one testicle feels weird, but only in the psychological sense. I mean, you know it's supposed to be there, but it isn't. It actually feels pretty good physically, I can do everything with my thighs now with no worry of the balls painfully clashing together.
get out of here stalker
Jesus, so my APUSH teacher gave us an assignment on Friday and said it's due Monday. The assignment was to define and give a picture for over 100 vocabulary terms. This is so stupid and time-consuming, I'm not actually learning anything from this and it's just going to be a waste of a bunch of my printer paper and ink because we all know he won't actually check them to make sure they're right. For example, we had to write this DBQ a while ago. As a test to see if he actually reads the stuff he assigns, my friends and I all put stupid sentences in the middle of the DBQ like "Ogres have layers," or "I didn't even have to use my AK." We all got around the same grade (like a 28/30 or whatever), but there wasn't a single mark on the paper saying why we lost points or that he saw our added sentences. I'm just tired of this class.
Try to get this to the right people's attention. That's just plain unprofessional
Yeah, all I wuz saying was that should you do the same proper camber, toe, reduce body sway, stiffer ride, etc to both a FF and FR setup car, FR would generally destroy the FF setup, by far
Yes, but keep in mind that certain things that make rwd cars handle better ruin the handling on fwd cars. Like how on a rwd car putting the wider wheels in the back helps, on a fwd car that ruins the handling. I'm sure you knew that already though.
