If you take the class and then at the end of the year score high enough on an exam, theoretically you get college credit for the class
That sounds backwards, do you mean you get college credit as in you will get into your college easier or like, those credits are the same as actual college credits even though you aren't in college yet?

pageking what
[editline]11th February 2014[/editline]
No but seriously I fucking love how AP classes give you college credits. I only have class three days out of the week this semester because I'm riding on high school AP credits.
AP classes are basically the opportunity to take college-level courses while still in high school. As part of an AP class, you take an AP test (which is designed and proctored on a national level), and then different colleges accept different AP test scores for credit.
For example, I took AP Computer Science in high school. The college I got into accepted AP test scores of 4 or better for credit, and I got a 4, so I was exempted from the intro programming course and got to start at a more advanced level, and I still count as having taken the class for the purpose of meeting degree requirements.
That sounds pretty nice, our system is completely different where after primary school you just go to a specialized high school at ~14 (though if you don't know what you want to do you can go to a normal high school, where something similar to this AP system would be beneficial).
Apart from grades though, if you get to learn as much about your craft as possible, you're golden
My airsoft rifle just passed through customs. Its probably on its way here in a couple days :D
Problem is, I probably can't pay the duty charges unless I pay with credit card. /firstworldproblems
What kind of asshole does someone have to be to blast dubstep on a tuesday night, when our dorm building has thin as fuck walls and it's during a week when about 99% of people have midterms?

wub the pain away
Punch through the wall and wring him by the neck.
Punch through the wall and wring him by the neck.
I would, but I think punching through the floor might be a little more difficult as he's on the floor below me. I'm pretty sure his big subwoofer or whatever is directly below my computer chair because that's where I feel the most vibration from the wubs

the wubs are so intense they knocked my BF4 poster off my wall send help
So my 14 year old sister is freaking out at my mom because she can't get tickets to something called Magcon (they're like $150 a piece or something and she's making my mom buy them, I don't even know what this thing is) and she won't stop screaming and crying. I'm glad I wasn't so whiny and disrespectful at that age.
It appears to be a thing with some people? I'm not really sure what it is. Anyway, she stopped crying about not being able to get tickets and now she's crying about how she could only get the general admissions tickets instead of VIP passes. Oh, the joys of a younger sister.
I still have no idea what that is
"MAGCON Tour is a Meet-and-Greet-Convention Tour that brings your favorite online entertainers to a city near you. Come see us in a city near you. www.magcontour.com"
So combine the worst of popstars and the internet and I guess you end up there.

(pure original content blogs do not have easy starts)
you'd be best starting off as a military history blog with comments thrown in to get attention, then switching over to mostly original rants/things that take time to make once you have a followerbase.

fuuuuuuuuuck that, I lack the knowledge to do it well. Will just rant to clear my mind and so people will know what it's like inside my mind.
reblogging cool stuff and piping in is easier :)
rule is: follow follow follow and then trim the tree.
or he could just do whatever the fuck he wants with his own blog, because really it doesn't make any difference how popular or unpopular it is. it's an outlet

Fuck I saw the link and thought it was some kind of weird magazine that had a built in Contour camera :v:
No idea what the purpose of that would be but it caught my attention

people do this thing where they yell at me for trying to help people be efficient.
never run into someone on tumblr who hasn't wanted followers. then again, trotsky isn't from tumblr (yet). didn't realize people ever made tumblrs to run as public virtual journals.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic.
yeah this is the same retarded shit that happens in the ksp thread when i give someone some constructive criticism on their first interplanetary ship.

no honestly, from my high school experience that was literally all what people used tumblr for. public virtual journals.
no honestly, from my high school experience that was literally all what people used tumblr for. public virtual journals.
Mmm. I'm so used to people using it as sorta just...a tumblr. I've talked to my irl friends about what's so neat about tumblr; it isn't a blog and it isn't a journal. It's a tumblr, a unique sort of thing.
But that doesn't mean it has to be. It's just a compound of social media and a "virtual journal". People just don't use it very much for exclusively the latter.
I haven't used my Tumblr in months. All I did was reblog stuff, post cool military pictures I found and occasionally post a rant that would have otherwise be posted here, causing a shitstorm. And I occasionally used Tumblr to find fap material as well, which it is extremely good for.
I just added like 60 things to my photography blog's queue.
