No, but I got to touch a lot of the HUMVEE radios, AN/PRC-110s, 170s, etc, and bunch of xceivers, amplifiers, and antennas. Also found tri color DCU CVC helmet cover.
get me a prc-77 bby
I had the weirdest dream An old white guy propped up a picture of hitler on a wall and he put a sofa down facing the wall He then proceeded to sit down and got his TV remote and started changing channels Except his TV remote shot bullets I then exclaimed, "THIS IS AN WONDERFUL ALTERNATIVE TO TELEVISION" while the old man shot the hitler picture with his TV remote I don't remember what happened next
Every morning I have trouble getting out of bed because my alarm goes off, I wake up, but then I snooze and roll over because I want nothing more than to go back to whatever glorious dream I was having. Not this morning. I was dreaming about drinking a delicious can of Sprite, and when I woke up, I realized that there were cans of Sprite in the mini fridge right under my bed, so I reached down and got one. There is nothing like having your dreams literally come true the minute you wake up from them, even if they are just cans of Sprite. [editline]4th April 2014[/editline] Oh also Herf I dreamed we smoked a joint in a cave while Aztec people danced around. It was cool.
so it turns out my dog HASNT been peeing in my room, but I have a crack in the ground in my room thats leaking water from a potentially broken pipe wohoo
So technically everyone else has been peeing in your room?
fortunately, through experimentation, I discovered its a pipe connected to the sink in the bathroom right next to my room
yeessss officially going on the school's sailing trip this year again. met the teacher after school on today, the day before break, all of one week before we leave, and got signed up in the very last spot.
I finally got a good sleep schedule but I wake up at 3 am every night for no reason then struggle falling back asleep. Its not fun.
you must get the exercise to maintain normal sleep shedule if you leave body lock in chicken coop of computer room all day with no movercise you will your body want to retire much later than is of the schedule ---- in others news- I've thought maybe I should start playing guitar seriously again, I haven't improved much since I graduated highschool. So I started learning this solo today and I thought it would be fun to make a before and after to compare with if I ever master it
Was that a sweep there at the end? Keep practicing! I like it.
I swear I can actually do sweeps! Just not that one yet :P
I play parts of this guy's arrangement of it, except better because he fuck up the timings. Those sweeps in the first variation are pretty nice, fun timing too.
how to record electric instruments clearly? [editline]4th April 2014[/editline] also anxiety and panic attacks suck ass and my weekly wacky tabaccy allowance isnt high enough to handle them
Get interface, pluggy in and use VST softwares in your DAW to emulate amps or pluggy in microphone and mic your amp proper and record.
I use a Digitech pedal running through a Scarlet-2i2, and then just straight through into audacity when I'm feeling lazy. If I'm doing something proper the pedal is set to Bypass instead and I'll be using VSTs and whatnot with ProTools, etc. Also I don't really need the Digitech pedal at all, but I love that horrible tone I've created on it so I keep it around anyway.
For my bass since I don't do anything serious, I just use a 1/4" to 1/8" adapter and connect my amp to my computer with a line in, then use Audacity. Which reminds me, I still need a proper bass amp, I borrowed my bro's at first but now I use an old Epiphone guitar amp. The sound isn't the same :C
When I connect my amp to my computer, horrible things happen. Not to mention the massive delay.
What delay? In playback or while recording? Recording delay can be compensated for afterwards but if it's during you shouldn't be hearing playback from the amp and your recording setup, so I don't see how that could be an issue. Anyways, if you're just using the line out of your amp it should be hunky dory, assuming you're using a proper preamp or interface of some sort.
Thunderbird->Acoustic B30->PC. Thats about the extent of my knowledge here. How do I listen with my comp's headset? what prgorams do i need?
The fuck do you mean B30 -> PC? Are you using the headphone jack as an output?
Unrelated to the current conversation, but I hate kids. Why can't airsoft be 18+ only like it's supposed to be.
socca moms and cod kids? I have no recording gear, so I don't record anything.
get me a prc-77 bby
It's funny because we actually still use radio gear from Vietnam
The fuck do you mean B30 -> PC? Are you using the headphone jack as an output?
Thats the only outbound jack on my amp
If you want to get serious you're going to have to buy a preamp that can properly USB interface with your computer, and use virtual amps to recreate your sound. If you don't have the budget, improvising as you've been doing is really the only way, and if you buy a cheap quarter or eight inch splitter you can likely jack in headphones to hear your amp while you're recording as well.
Find an interface on ebay for like 100 bux and forget about that. Get something by Tascam or Focusrite or Presonus or something.
lol gay dry stout is p much the best
On a serious note, I almost never drink beer (unless I'm at like a baseball game or something). 99% I drink bourbon/rocks or scotch/7up
Find an interface on ebay for like 100 bux and forget about that. Get something by Tascam or Focusrite or Presonus or something.
Yep, $100+ or $1.95 for a splitter. Really depends on a lot of things.
On a serious note, I almost never drink beer (unless I'm at like a baseball game or something). 99% I drink bourbon/rocks or scotch/7up
I used to be that way. Then I discovered that I'm less likely to puke up beer. Honestly the worst part of puking while drinking is watching all the emone you paid for the alcohol you just drank go straight into the toilet or wherever you throw up, then having to drink more money away just to finish getting drunk.
So Kill La Kill is pretty good. Just finished it. Lots of things made me super uncomfortable about it tho.
I have a Marshall Valvestate 8080. I like it.
