So I got a speeding ticket and i think im going to get fired and i might have failed one or two or three classes
That's exactly me minus the fired thing
Yeah that was exactly me minus the whole fired thing about two years ago.
I heard Tropico is really fun.
Also that trailer is great.
I enjoyed Tropico 4. It wasn't without its flaws, but no game has ever been perfect (inb4flamevar) and from the sounds of it Tropico 5 will fix most of the issues 4 had. But yes, that trailer is just winrar. I laughed so hard the first time I saw it.
Also, I got a speeding ticket once. Once. $260-something for doing 84 in a 60 zone in spite of keeping up with the flow of traffic. Once was enough for me, now I just don't get caught. :V

Terpenes acquired for use in achieving low earth orbit. This shit is delicious.
Uh oh, any one of those things is bad enough :c
what is happening bro?
Well I overloaded myself with school and work so it all suffered. I overslept and was two hours late last to a shift last week. Next week I only have a five hour shift on Monday, which leads me to believe I'm going to get fired.
Basically I have had school early in the day and then work right after that til midnight, leaving me with the option of doing homework or sleeping when I get home, which is a lose-lose situation.
The speeding ticket was just cause I was goin fast tho
It's still amazing how the cop only charged you as if you were going 5 over or whatever, weren't you doing 85 or so?
yeah, he caught me at 85.
luckily he didnt catch me when i was doing 95
yeah, he caught me at 85.

So I get the ticket that threatens to suspend my license for going the same speed as you, friendship revoked.
Last year I was caught in the same place doing 82, fucker still charged me as such, $140. :I

Good thing you guys don't live in California. My girlfriend was going 50 in a 35 zone, she ended up paying somewhere in the $400 range. I was going 79 in a 55 and don't know how much it'll cost yet, but I'm expecting something similar
good news- i dont have to do my sci fi final
bad new- because theres no possible way for me to pass

That shit is delicious. That's also the same company that makes the vanilla chai I use in a lot of my tasty (read: alcoholic) beverages.

ANOTHER SUCCESSFUL GUVMENT ISHYA CLOTHING FIND FOR ME
I'm in New York again, leaving tomorrow but I went further uptown to check out Church Street Surplus, a place I didn't get to check out last year, and holy fuck they have a good selection. Vintage clothes, $3 vests and ties outside the front, and I went straight to the military clothing and up on the top racks were the N3B and M51 parkas that I've been wanting but they were from $150 to like $450 for the N3B, so I had to pass. I found one OD M65 jacket in medium regular, my exact size so I snagged that to add to my M65 collection.
Now here's the funny part, they had a whole bunch of M51 pants but I only found one in my size, it's in perfect condition, literally like new, and when I got to the hotel I just had the epiphany that the pants are dated April 24, 1953. And today is April 24th. If that's not a sign that they poofed out of thin air and never age, I don't know what is.

And my wardrobe is slowly taken over by OG 107.
i'm just going to say words because my journal is no longer a significantly large enough outlet
a week ago i got back from a school sailing trip thing and it was great and like 70% of why it was great was because there was a particularly awesome girl on my team who i'd spent the previous year sitting next to but never really got to know. i went on the trip to get away from LA for a while and chill out with the awesome CIMI crew and ended up coming back with a stupidly large crush on someone i still didn't know very well.
and this fucking sucks. i feel like we have a ton in common but we have 0 classes together, no mutual friends, etc, and today i figure out she's in some odd flirty relationship with a guitar player (who has a funny unknown history with me in becoming consistently attracted to the same people). on the plus side i now have 0 interest in literally every other girl at my school, which i still don't actually know if that's a plus or not and aaaaa i'm posting on fp about it because i have nothing better to do and have no actual friends and fuck
I finally sold my Tavor to some guy on Ebay and he's a fucking scammer or some shit.
He won the bid, paid for it, great. I went to sleep after I packed it up. The next morning Paypal says that the transaction is frozen and under review because it's been disputed. So, okay, whatever I contacted the guy and this is literally what happened:

Fantastic.
"I wait my gun!!!!!"
Pretty excited for this week's "drunk hilarious movie night with friends" night tomorrow.
[editline]25th April 2014[/editline]
and then prom the next day
and then afterprom that night
What should I do for a movie night this weekend? I need to pick some movies to watch with friends.
Agree for Alien and Aliens
Disagree for Terminator 1 and 2
Funny for Star Wars original trilogy
Winner for Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction
Don't think I've really told you guys my situation but it's simple I missed a ton of school 3 years ago, I recovered from some major depression went through multiple boces schools and want to go back to district but the people in charge have a stick up their ass.
So I probably will have to stay in Arden Hill BOCES instead of going back to Washingtonville for high school.
Pretty much everyone even staff agrees that I should be back there but I can't because of my attendance. I've been going mostly every day. Keyword mostly. Not my fault that the kids here drive me insane. I'm 15 hanging out with only one friend in this school. The rest are either assholes or too young. It's what you get in these small special ed programs. The high school program is better but still, I preform better in plain ass public school.
So, yay... I'll get to be a lonely miserable fuck for another year of my life... And I brought it on myself.

There it is, April 24th. Happy 61st birthday. These are some damn old pants but they look brand spanking new, I'll have to get some other pictures.

And now in addition to Kaufman's, I highly recommend Church Street Surplus. The staff was helpful, they have ladders you can climb for the top rack, and even the nice old man there took down the M65 for me. This is another one of those hidden gem stores, there's even a view of the new WTC from the storefront.I didn't realize they finally finished it.
For the amount of military bases here, you'd think we would have more milsurp stores. Nope, none that I know of. They're probably one of the most exciting things I'm looking forward to about the mainland. Will definitely be an experience.

So it looks like it'll be Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction this weekend.
Also got a new fancy Star Wars box set today, 1995 widescreen VHS in amazing condition. I grew up with the 1995 fullscreens, seen them so many times. It'll be interesting to see them in letterbox.

One step closer to owning every original trilogy set.
I've gotta get started on the Star Wars prequels. I only recently watched Episode 4-6 but everyone keeps telling me Episode 1-3 is absolute shit and ruins a lot of the later episodes, so I just haven't bothered yet
