I just have a spool of CDs because no AUX input.
The work van I drive everyday doesn't have an aux input so I either have to listen to the radio or my coworker on his phone speaking spanish at 5000mph not shutting the fuck up. Theres 4 radio stations that are really worth dick: Station 1- popular songs, 90% overplayed bullshit, 5% good music, 5% commercials Station 2- mostly black station, old bullshit, new bullshit, fucking commercials all the time, good music from like 5-5:04 Station 3- comedy station, really entertaining, shittiest reception in the world Station 4- popular songs, unfunny talk show, bullshit, every 15th song isn't overplayed and wont make you want to tear your eyes out.
hawaiian/reggae/hiphop on every station here practically no electronic music stations, we're not that advanced yet
Local FM stations include: 2 stations that play modern rock/metal stuff (Avenged Sevenfold, Five Finger Death Punch, etc.) 2 stations that play modern country stuff (Tim McGraw, Blake Shelton, etc.) 5 stations that play Top 40 stuff This is why I never listen to FM any more. We have satellite radio, and it's pretty nice, but overall I always fall back on my CDs.
Living in a journalism school/hub, my friends run the local radio stations so I get to hear people I know and music I like all the time, which is awesome, except I'm going back to Atlanta soon, which means I get to choose from rap, rap, rap, rap, rap, or rap in terms of radio.

I had one when I had the old minivan which had no aux port, no working ac, and no working power steering. The cassette thing worked well enough. It wasn't extremely clear but it was better than nothing. OR ask family members that have similar tastes in music as you if they have any old cassettes or cds and make your own mix tapes/cds
I have no idea what the radio stations are in the city I go to university in, but at home we have one station that plays a mix of classic rock and modern rock, a country station, and generic shit pop station.
I haven't listened to the radio it like 3 or 4 years. My cars radio has been set on auxiliary since I got it, and that was 2 years ago

Such stations in my area include three bygone relics: Smooth FM, which once played Jazz and Funk, and now plays Jazz and Funk (when one particular DJ is on), and modern hip hop, rnb, and shit like that (the rest of the time) for some reason Rock FM, which used to play Rock, and is now just another station playing pop bullshit and XFM, which used to play Alternative Rock, Metal, unsigned bands and shit, and now plays static - by that I mean you're lucky if you even manage to get a connection to it without being on the same hill as a radio tower.
My brother uses a car charger that you plug anything with a standard apple connector to and it transmits it to a radio station. Theyre neat but expensive and get messed up near power lines.
They're not that expensive, but they're generally pretty shit If you've got an ~old skool~ car and still have a tape player, get one of those tapes with the aux cable attached to it, those work pretty good or put in (quite) a bit more money and get a new head unit
My N900 had it's own FM transmitter. and I'LL HAVE YOU KNOW KATH that taco bell is a lifetime love affair, not just fast food
snip i messed up
legitimately like 80% of the channels out here in california are in spanish advanced market segmentation.

Just found a whole bunch of websites for sourcing just about every part for the Triumph. Sweet.

Year 11. Still sitting here. Waiting for a Master and Commander film sequel.
Maybe if field stripping AKs was part of our physical education curriculum in North America, I wouldn't have stopped doing it and got fat when it stopped being mandatory after grade 10. The only place where this really should be is in JROTC programs for those who want it.
Well, I sold a perfectly working, solid gun on eBay and now the buyer has filed a claim against me saying he "broke the barrel off in his hand" and a bunch of other shit that was most definitely not wrong with it when I sent it. I know that eBay automatically sides with the buyer, so I'm basically fucked and I'm going to have to issue a refund and be sent back my gun, which is now broken thanks to this asshole. So basically I'm going to be back where I started before I sold the gun, except now it's broken. Awesome.

Normally I would chalk it up to shitty USPS handling of packages, but I packed it extremely well, like, unusually good so I'm betting it wasn't that. He's offered to accept a partial refund of $35, which, while better than the position I started off in, still really feels like extortion.
What a shitlord.
What a shitlord.
Ended up just [del]refunding[/del] giving him [del]his[/del] my $35 and basically telling him that in the comment section for the money transfer.
I'm still waiting for my partizan suit. I'm about to fucking freak out because I'm so angry. What the fuck usps.

The FM tuner ones work flawlessly and the one I have automatically turns to a dead AM radio channel so I almost never get static. It's great because in my truck I have my favorite FM radio station tuned in and than when I want to listen to my music or switch back I just press the same button, no more tuning to find the right channel like I used to with my aux cable I nigger-rigged into my old Taco. They're relatively cheap, more expensive than the tape player aux cables but work better. I had one of the tapes and especially during the New York winter they were worthless. It worked fine for like a week or two but than when the cold set in it'd keep fucking up and not working, ejecting or not reading it. Finally I just threw it out. Not to mention some people have the issue of the cable yanking off the tape while it's still in the radio and than it's stuck in there.
Thinking about buying one of those radio ones. I have an AUX port in my Xterra but it's absolute garbage and has broken 4 or 5 times now and I'm sick of having it repaired only for it to break again about a month later. [editline]7th May 2014[/editline] So I just watched some guy come into my 200 person lecture late and proceed to trip and fall in a very loud manner over a chair and draw the attention of the entire class. So he, embarrassed, picks the chair up and puts it back. Then, the next 3 people in a row to come into the class do the exact same fucking thing. Oh my god four people in a row have just tripped and fallen over the same chair in front of a 200 person lecture this is fucking gold.
