Holy shit. What a fucking asshole you must look like. "Oh, you have a watch. Could you tell me the time, Sir?" "Yeah, hold on let me figure that out."
It represents the abstract nature of time itself as a construct of human society.

The whole point of a watch is to make it easier to tell time literally over the past few years we're getting progressively further and further away from that goal and now people will just be framing their watches. It's about a half past sophistication.
watches are kind of obsolete now considering phones have a clock that never need to be adjusted or anything. [editline]29th May 2014[/editline] unless its a ~~~artsy~~~ watch or a status symbol watch that costs like 25 grand
i like a nice watch completes the look while im out on the lawn with my ralph lauren shirt playing polo with the lads

[editline]29th May 2014[/editline] unless its a ~~~artsy~~~ watch or a status symbol watch that costs like 25 grand
I knew a guy in college who had a Rolex or some shit and still checked his phone for the time.
I've got a nice $30 stainless steel watch that looks great and does it's job. I don't need 50 dials on it, a compass, a stopwatch, a ruler and a twitter feed inside my watch. It's beyond me how people are spending hundreds of dollars on a watch just for the sake of it being a brand name or a looking slightly different to the other thousands of watches out there.
I've got a Timex that used to belong to my dad, but he was not satisfied with it because it was too heavy for him so it ended up in his closet. When one day I said that I needed to save up for a new watch, he was just like "Wait" and gave it to me. My dad's random acts of random kindness (2x random for a reason) tend to be silly. He bought himself a Galaxy S3 Mini, figured out it was a bit too powerful for his needs so he gave it to me. One day later he orders himself another S3 Mini. But then he starts yelling and being a complete asshole over tiniest things, so much that I can barely handle it.
I mean, it is a fully functional watch, and its easy to read when you've set it, but its also a conversation piece, an attention grabber, and a pretty nifty looking accessory.
Don't google MTP with safe search off because apparently it also stands for "medical termination of pregnancy" so you get pictures of abortions too.
hot
I like watches. They're very useful. I could take my phone out of my pocket, turn on the screen, look at it, turn it off and put it back, or I could just take a quick look at my watch.
Half the time when I pull my phone out to check the time, I end up looking at a text messag or Facebook message or something, and forget to even check the time until after I put it back in my pocket.
I mean, it is a fully functional watch, and its easy to read when you've set it, but its also a conversation piece, an attention grabber, and a pretty nifty looking accessory.
despite what I said about watches, it is nice looking. its a p nice accessory if thats what anyone is looking for
If i wasn't $60 short of a jpc, i wouldn't even want to sell it. I need a watch for when I get my tattoo anyways, so it can be covered for a job.
Get a tattoo of a watch boom.
Get a tattoo of a watch boom.
But i gotta be hebrew
If we're still talking about watches, I use a pocket watch.
But i gotta be hebrew
get the hebrew word for bagel tattooed around your wrist so when ever you look at your wrist you know its time for a nice bagel and schmear you fagela
Ugh I am fucking irate right now. Firstly, people have been throwing shit tons of trash int he back of my truck at school since it sits in the corner of the lot, and today as I drove up the hill it was blowing out and all over the fucking place. Since the school won't do shit about it besides say "lel guys don't do that again" I'll have to go out there at lunch and see if I can't find the asshats myself and do something about it. Secondly I received NO scholarships for uni next year, meaning I'm completely under my fathers thumb in everything he does. While I appreciate the help he is giving I would have much rather had at least some independence, so at this point I'm considering AFROTC or NROTC, even Air National Guard scholarships. Anything to make me a bit more independent than I am currently. But at least I have cookies and milk and alcubierre drive papers to entertain and relax myself with :v: [editline]29th May 2014[/editline] the scholarship system in the US is broken as fuck. I actually got denied a small grant because I forgot to sign up for the draft and past a certain point of income you won't even get considered for help at all.
If we're still talking about watches, I use a pocket watch.
odd case, since pocket watches are classy as fuck, but then you're actually better off checking the time on your phone.
odd case, since pocket watches are classy as fuck, but then you're actually better off checking the time on your phone.
I actually never had a phone until very recently (no, really) and I don't like wearing things on my wrists, so a pocket watch seemed logical. Get a lot of amused looks quite often when I check the time.
OH HEY I made that drawing that you're using as an avatar. Unrelated good music.
Side note on awesome music- next time Peter Hook (ex bassist of NO) comes to PA, I'm going to hang out with him. Also the original of that song was removed from spotify for some reason :tinfoil:

I actually got denied a small grant because I forgot to sign up for the draft and past a certain point of income you won't even get considered for help at all.
I only applied to one scholarship since it was the only one I was guaranteed to get. The Taiwanese American Association has a $600 scholarship, they give two to each school and I'm literally the only Taiwanese guy in my graduating class. Got an extra $150 on top of that since my parents are TAA members. They make too much money so I'm excluded from basically all need-based scholarships so I figured going the minority-based scholarship would be my best bet. It's not a lot but hey every bit helps right?
