I think people didn't like it because there was no "skill" behind playing it. Aka digital editing and stuff like that. BUT GUESS WHAT GROUP ALSO SPENT A LOT OF TIME IN THE EDITING STUDIO!?!?!!?!!?! And I don't see anyone ripping on these guys.
All I heard was that live that one dude couldn't riff as fast in fire and flames as well as the studio recording. Then the angsty 15 year olds threw their beanies into the air and there was a great uproar.
~snip~
I'm pretty sure they actually do play it that fast. Sometimes a guitarist has a bad day too. Being in the cold stiffens your fingers, etc.
i just found out coyote animates all of pewdiepie's videos i feel so bad for him, having to listen to that stupid fuck's voice
Pretty sure Pewdiepie pays him for that.. at least I hope so judging by the amount of money he earns of his shit.
He does. He pays him pretty well too.

Local airsoft page, typical shenanigans, come upon a "gun failures in movies" post. Eh, I think. "It always reminds me of Robocop when I see gun fails. The swat team in the parking lot of Robocop are all using augs and holding them sideways as they fire from the hip." Firing their weapons sideways is deliberate; to eject the brass straight into the ground instead of into the guy next to them (they are, after all, advancing in a straight line). Firing from the hip is simply a byproduct; you try aiming down a gun you're holding sideways in order to prevent the guy next to you getting brass down his shirt.

They've got power metal down to almost a damn science
I'm still having issues coming up with something more interesting to text the girl I like other than "hi how are you" so i go to Google. All I get is pickup artist bullshit that assumes you're trying to not be boring to someone you just met and not someone who you've already been on a couple dates with, probably at least somewhat likes you and you can talk to in person but just shit the bed when it comes to text because of being scared of texting someone too much because that's what screwed you over the last time you were in a similar situation.
http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1402649
because the only way to make money as an idiot is to use even worse idiots

Overthinking things like that and planning how to talk to someone will only yield bad results IMO. Don't let it get to the point where you're typing a message to someone, then erase it and keep retyping different things until you end up saying nothing at all or something silly. You don't need to make it sound fancy, all the points they'll make will be the same thing; that you're interested in talking with her. You could just say "Hey how's it been" and you'd be all set. She'll get the idea you want to talk, and if you have to you could even tell her that you like talking to her/she's fun to talk to.
And yeah not sure what the hate on DragonForce is for. They've got power metal down to almost a damn science
Well, it's two things, really. The first is that a lot of people have a very old-fashioned view of music, and focus on the talent of the performers themselves. The idea here is that if a musician can't play, and has to rely on computers to make their music sound good, that they're not a good musician, but I think that sort of view is conflating the different skills involved in composing music and in playing it. If someone could write excellent guitar pieces, but was mediocre at guitar, I would not call them a skilled guitarist, but I could call them a skilled composer. Dragonforce, I think, is better at composing their music, and then using heavy editing to get that music to sound the best, than they are at simply playing. I don't think there's anything wrong with that, after all that's how electronic music has always been, but I think a lot of people resent that style of musical creation in more traditionally-produced genres. The other thing is that they have a history of getting lazy and produce derivative, same-y pieces to pad out their albums. Lot of chaff in with that wheat. I kinda like Dragonforce myself, but only a couple of tracks. If you have to force it or fake it to get along, it's not going to work out in the long term. You want your partner to be someone you can just share yourself with, not someone you have to put on an act for.

The whole reason I like her is because I actually feel like I can be myself with her and she'll accept it. It's just texting, it's hard to make it interesting and now that I've actually started talking to people in real life it feels weird to talk to people who aren't IFAP over text. It's also hard to make small talk with her now because we're at that point where we know all the really basic stuff about each other and it feels weird to try to get more personal over text. Plus there's always the chance she's not even going to respond when I text her because she's not the typical girl who's addicted to her phone so sometimes when she see's that I've texted her it's a day later and she thinks it would be awkward to text back. All in all this whole thing is awkward as hell and I just want to be able to talk to her in person again so it's not awkward anymore.
chief here, my girlfriend moved in with me and the amount of sex per week has plummeted to fucking hell. I can't even fucking jack off in privacy anymore, god this blows [editline]23rd June 2014[/editline] and life keeps kicking me in the dick
How the hell does that even work...

They can cope with that later, they can't cope with death later.
A bunch of friends went out to the lake no one invited me :c Looks like it was a lot of fun but I probably wouldn't have gone with how conscious I am about my pectus evacatum

Brass safety first!
So it's my first day of work on Might & Delight It's fucking great. I love it. I've been here for about 6 hours now and there was a computer problem at first but after signing some work papers and getting settled in? It's great. I share room with the CEO and Vice President (since the CEO was the only animator before I joined in). Me and the vice president played Gang Beasts for like half an hour instead of actually working. I've done two animations for animals (a deer). Aaaaaah. I love this place.
oh and on top of that she's discussing her relationship problems with other guys and deleting her messages. AWESOME!

My girlfriend dumped me last week after spending the last two months convincing me that I had found the love of my life and that I was going to be the father of her child. Now, I miss her and her kid, and everything around me reminds me of them. Once I'm over all this, I intend to join the Army. If I can pass the hearing test, that is.
I just got told I have to make a 3.7 next semester or I get kicked out of college. I really feel like college isn't for me, but my parents are telling me they'll disown me if I do anything else. I'm really getting to the point of disregarding them and just joining the military early instead of finishing college first. I really don't think I can make a 3.7 and I don't want to waste any more of their money trying.

First semester I flunked pretty much everything and got put on academic probation. I was highly considering joining the army since I had wanted to be a helicopter pilot for a while, but without a college degree my odds were extremely low of getting a slot. So while thinking about things I took 1-2 classes a semester and switched my major twice, first to history and then to homeland security. The second change was incredible, because I found myself in classes I really liked and with excellent job prospects once I finished up, and at the end of this past semester I got my 2 year degree (in 4 years) with multiple 4.0 semesters and Dean's List like 3-4 times. It sounds like what you need is a change one way or another, because obviously your current major or college lifestyle isn't fitting your needs.

Yeah, I'm think about maybe doing like you said and taking it slow so I can get done what I need to get done and then get on to things I'm more interested. My general ed. is really fucking me right now but I think I'll do better once I get into a major. In the mean time I'm trying to minor in something like strategic or military science so I can get general ed. requirements done and take classes I actually care about. Probably better that I finish college anyway because you're definitely right, I've got a slim-to-none chance at doing what I want to do in the military without a degree.

On one hand you're always taking a class you don't care too much about, but on the other you get mostly interesting classes as well as getting to start on required classes sooner. Some classes require like 2-3 prerequisite classes so if you don't start taking them earlier you'll be forced to wait, which can really mess up your time table.
Every semester in college so far I've always had one or two classes that I would really dislike and would bring my GPA way down. So I'd get like 3.0 or higher in most of my classes, then I get the one or two classes I hated where I'd get a 2.0 or lower so my GPA is shitting the fucking bed. I've yet to fail a class at least. [editline]23rd June 2014[/editline] And I wish I was capable of joining the military because I have zero job prospects when I finish but nope, inheritable genetic defects means no army for me.
