'72 probably.
althoughhhh, I could get an '80's Porsche 911 for <$15k sooooo...
I love Mary Prankster.

so my surface came. pretty big first world problem though: the screen resolution makes finding wallpapers rather difficult. also, the screen is smaller than my main monitor by a large amount but significantly higher res so it seems really pixellated.
love this thing so far, great performance and pulls an easy 8-9 hours of battery taking notes or wstching movies. pressure sensitive screen and included stylus are pretty great too

The dude I bought my Camaro from had an 80's 944 in pretty great shape which he got for somewhere around $7K iirc.
Its like some sort of diversity-based 90's buddy detective movie.
We tell everyone we met in the Marines.
Since like 80% of Marine buddies are wildly diverse.

Yeah, the 80's ones are seemingly less desirable for some reason, and therefore cheaper. I'll probably stick to the classic 911 if I get one though.
I've also heard Porsches are super easy to work on. Apparently you can pull the motor without motor hoists and shit, so that's a plus
he loves you
smooch
At least butler hasn't come to shit up IFAP recently.
He did that to German and I waaayy back too

you guys remind me of

It's funny, because I always envisioned Colin as a giant blue yeti monster
Looks like it's a race to apocs house. We've got clandestine/USPS and evike/UPS tagteaming today, both are expected today, but who will cross the finish line first? Stay tuned
That happens to me when I sell something big and am expecting a lot of packages, except it's usually:
"Lets see if USPS will deliver it the day they expect to, or see if UPS will show up before I go to sleep."
Not that anyone cares, but give Butler's profile a report if you have the time. Thanks in advance if you do. He's been copying my steam profile/name 1:1 for the past few months, dunno why. I don't know if you have autism or what Cooper, because I know you are seeing this, but it's creepy as fuck that you take people's facebook/kit pics and put them on your steam profile.

this is him right?

Oh, does he hate facepunch too? I can't really keep track of all two or three of them that I know of.
Possibly buying pump shotgun tomorrow. Visiting girlfriend for the weekend and she wants to go to a used gun store the size of a supermarket. Their website has just over 900 used shotguns in stock so fingers crossed I'll find something good.
butlers literally the biggest loser
So I waited all day for my shit, which didn't show, and as I'm leaving for work at like 4, I see the goddamn UPS truck down the street, so I drive over and pick up my evike shit directly. So now it's sitting in my trunk until I get off work tonight :v:
Contacted home and USPS was a no show >=(
My Amped Airsoft order (prommy purple bucking, scs nub, .25 EF bbs) are being shipped UPS and I got an alert saying it needs to be signed for...but all the mail to the dorms go to a collection center where you pick it up with your student ID. Not sure how that'll work out but whatever. None of my packages have required signatures before.
At my dorm they signed for it sometimes, and decided not to other times.
fucking sucked ass
scheduling college stuff isn't difficult because it's a difficult thing to do
it's difficult because the UI looks like this shit

How do I beat the failed driving test blues? It's only my first one so it's not a big deal, but the cranky lady nicknamed "Fail Gale" is so damn nitpicky with the technical shit. Even the supervisor told me it was ridiculous when he heard her telling me what I did "wrong."
I can't wait until I can take the basic riding course for motorcycles to get that license, no matter how much I drive I can't stand it. I drive carefully and watch everywhere, I've never had any problems with it, but it's like awkwardly driving a big box down the road where you can't see everything around you that easily, it's frustrating. Like it's just one of those things that'll bite me in the ass eventually. It's not even a big car, it's some small clunky Land Rover Freelander. I tried driving my dad's pickup a couple times but it felt like trying to steer the damn Titanic.
/rant
I want to go crawl in a cardboard box for the rest of time.
I totally feel you. I'm much more comfortable on a motorcycle, because I actually feel in control, and I can be aware of everything easily. I hate how uninvolved cars are. It feels dangerous to me. That's one reason I like my old truck; it feels bare bones, and that makes me feel more in control, because it's not a computer, it's a mechanical machine.
I got to go on the roof today.
It was like the music video for Turn Down for What.

Seeing as you do security shit, have you ever thought of becoming like a full fledged police officer?
why or why not
I thought about it. But I don't think I'll ever do it. Maybe Parking Enforcement, but even though they get to drive Crown Vics and wear the local PD uniforms they aren't actually cops.
Loss Prevention is fun. Like, really fun. You get paid to do a fraction of the work as everyone else in the store. You go to the same place everyday, get paid slightly more than everyone else, get a shit ton of freedom (Unless you work at Best Buy) and you get to be a hero once in awhile in stop a shoplifter and stuff. Women like authority, no matter how fake that authority is and that means you get to dress up (kinda) like a cop with the cool gadgets like radios and handcuffs. It's a fun, easy life. Especially for a 21 year old like myself.
Being a real cop is well, real. I have to deal with real violence, real tragedy and real danger on a semi-regular basis. I can't watch CSI or Law and Order because the 'reenactments' of the crime really bug me out because I just can't stand the injustice of it all. And that's a TV show. I can only imagine how I'd feel if I had to deal with that stuff in person. I already hate people, I'm already a loner I don't need to be a cop.
The biggest event of my day was telling the 'homeless' guy that he needs to stop begging for change in our parking lot, getting to go on the roof, and dealing with some Spanish lady who got double-charged on her Columbian Visa card.
For an LP guy a 'bad' day is like, customers just being generally rude to you. Or you're bored because nothing is going on. Or maybe having a shoplifter get away because of some bullshit rule or because you slipped up but honestly, it's not a big deal. For a Cop a 'bad' day is something on a whole different level.

I always wanted to be a Security Guard. Like in High School people would ask me what I wanted to do when I graduated, and I'd tell them that. And they would always give me dirty looks (and they still do) but it's fun. I'll probably keep working LP jobs until I decide to step up to armed security and try to get a contract doing some serious stuff like guarding a Nuclear Power Plant or working for at a federal installation.

See I've always wanted to be a cop, but I was thinking (especially because you need to be 21 in order to apply to be any sort of LE officer) that maybe doing something like Loss Prevention beforehand would be nice. What kind of requirements were your current (and former) employers looking for when you applied for the job?
