My friend is looking for a budget laptop for primarily internet browsing and Microsoft Office stuff. She's looking for something under $550 if possible. I'm not that familiar with the laptop market right now so I'm looking for some help.
This one is open box, although it comes with a 500gb + 32gb hybrid drive. Which means it has ample space + a 32gb cache which means it will be loading consistently used applications quickly for only $400. In combination with a 1.8ghz i3 it should eat up word processing and any research needs she may run into; on a nice 14 inch screen of course. staples cough cough
ughfgfhhfh my family and cousins and everyone want to go white water rafting and i trust exactly none of them.
dont die
idek if i want to go like srsly, some things just aren't worth doing for people. why did my entire family except for my parents have to stop making babies for a 17 year period. I'm smack dab in the middle of the 13-30 agegroup here in my family and even in the neighborhood everyone but my parents live in. [editline]10th August 2014[/editline] like what the actual fuck. i havent even had not-extemely-old/young neighbors since 2006 (diff neighborhood, opposite side of the country).
on the reels though, white water rafting is hella fun
not with the kind of people that scream like they've been shot when they see a racoon within 30 feet of them looks super fun in any case. I have no aversion to water or anything
My grandfather died 3 years ago today. I burn a candle for him in my lantern every year. Tonight I'm burning two candles. A very close friend of mine's mother just died this morning. So many feels tied to this date like I don't even. [t]http://i.imgur.com/90Czjdz.png[/t]
My mom died a couple of weeks ago. All is good and I'm chillin.. some dickhead jehova witnesses ring my doorbell and tell me I will go to hell if I don't ~believe~.. #lyf My job-contract will be extended though so yeah :D
Speaking as an ex-Jehovah's witness I can attest to our door knocking tenacity. It's such an ancient medium to attempt to actually portray any news or convince anyone of anything, continues to be such a god damn annoyance as opposed to an enlightening surprise.
Is there a story behind you being a jehovas witness? Please elaborate
allahu akbar
Well it's not an overly interesting story but hey ho. Basically once upon a time when I was about 13 just after starting secondary (high) school, I got picked on into infinity and became super depressed. My mother was and still is a devout Jehovah witness and at the time I was feeling pretty suicidal and just the epitome of angsty teenager, I was stealing things from shops, stealing from my parents, I was physically attacking my parents when I didn't get my way and eventually I dropped out from school because the bullying got too bad. As I was being home schooled over a year or two, I basically stopped being the scummiest shit and ironically found some refuge in that wackadoo religion because I had no friends and I had too much free time. I got baptised and spent 3 years in the "congregation", going out on the ministry (knocking on the doors), attending meetings three times a week and so on. I was actually quite quite active and being around some people my own age and just generally around these super friendly people all of the time rubbed off on me and I stopped being a dirt bag although all the while I had been diagnosed as clinically depressed and that didn't change much. Eventually I joined back into secondary school halfway with two years left, and it's a little bit boring from there on out. I studied hilariously hard to get decent grades, which I did get and then some. I spent more and more time focused on school, made some solid friendships and somehow I managed to sort of laugh my way out of depression. It sounds cheesy but I spent a lot of time making people laugh, working on jokes and sketches and most of my problems subsided, I spent more time focusing on study as opposed to preaching the good news. I did exceptionally well in both my science classes, eventually left the congregation and I into an whole science and it was a fantastic move. Having been a religious fanatic and what with most of my relatives being them then moving onto a scientific field, I appreciate that I've got a taste of both worlds and I'm not quick to blindly mock religion but I'm no longer a mindless person relying solely on faith to actually somehow provide me with purpose in life bla bla bla yada yada. But yeah knocking on people's doors trying to force your opinion on them believe it or not will never be an effective tactic to get people to take you seriously or listen to you.
mad wisdom
I can relate somewhat, I was bullied out of school in early year 7 and was home schooled for the rest of my education (I never went to Upper school) so I also never took my GCSE's as I was never given the option to do those from home, I did qualification courses while being home schooled which I later learned were worthless in the real world, which was nice... I'm glad you turned things around mate.
Just wanted all my IFAP bros to know that Burger King has finally brought back chicken fries. I'll meet you guys there in an hour if that sounds good.

I used to think it was hot as fuck when girls have unnatural hair colours or side shave hairstyles. But now it seems like every girl and their mom has hair like that now and it's not so hot anymore because of that.
taepo i have found your niche you're a hipster [editline]11th August 2014[/editline] PS u american fucks its pronounced neesh u fucks its french
I know I'm a hipster. I've come to terms with it.
start a tumblr
I'm so hipster that tumblr is too mainstream for me.

While also selling tat on etsy......
I've had a pretty productive week. I got the last of the Backroom Bandits gone. So the entire receiving team was basically fired. Plus a cashier and all the paperwork that goes with those decisions. Four suspension/terminations total. Than on Saturday some kid fell out of a moving car literally behind my back as I was walking to my truck and I had to deal with that shit.
side shave hairstyles
A girl in my senior class was homeschooled for a long time and when she finally came back she had one of those hairstyles and so she got the nickname Skrillex for a while. I actually used to be really good friends with her in elementary, going to her house all the time after school. But then we kinda lost contact when she disappeared into homeschool and when she came back we never really picked it back up, saw each other on campus but never talked. Sad really how time can change friendships.
