i just think it's hilarious how much credit people give burger king for their food when everything is shipped in as a frozen hockeypuck of meat with conveyor belt treadmarks indented into the goop and carelessly, resentfully prepared by the lowest common denominator of human being (such as my highschool self) in a giant robogrill and a plastic heat pan, and then served in a greasy paper bag with sauce dripping everywhere and like a crumpled napkin and maybe a ketchup packet
yet people will actually take time to say "wow this food is so great" and like even make youtube reviews (wtf) when i wish everyone would just act like they're ashamed to be eating in such a place and like, hang their heads and avoid eye contact or small talk the entire time they're in the restaraunt, and just take their food home to eat it in shame in their bed while watching reruns of tv shows that were cancelled in 2006 and maybe even crying
and eventually in like 5 years they'll realize no one ever actually uses the dining room anymore and they'll only have drivethroughs instead and the world will be a much better place
I am fully aware that it is shit food. But as shit food goes, Burger King does tend to have the best in my opinion. If I wanted a real burger I'd either grill it myself or go to Five Guys (I don't really consider them "fast food" in the same vein as McDonald's and BK, but I realize they're probably still fast food)
taep, people from all around the world are joining it
the guy who beheaded james foley had a british accent
don't people that learn english as a second+ language overseas learn british english though?

I really like Wendy's. The local one closed down. I am sad.

I had to "cook" (if you can even call inserting meat into a machine cooking) the burgers at Burger King when I worked there and the whole thing almost felt insulting to my intelligence. I worked there for two years and when I was just about to quit they finally promoted me to operating the deep frier and making chicken sandwiches.
I would be glad to be in a chain that was busy enough to only have to do one thing. I literally had to operate any and all areas of the kitchen at any given time, which frankly makes it so much worse because you need to know dozens and dozens of mindless tasks instead of just a few.
I end up eating a lot of fast food because I either cant find anything in my house to eat for lunch or my mom didnt cook anything for dinner and I had to fend for myself and again there was nothing to eat in the house except for things for the meals my mom is supposed to cook but isnt, and I'll get yelled at for making anything.

you can only have a turkey sandwich or a bowl of ramen so many times in a row before you want something a little more substantial, even if it is processed fast food.
wtf just go to the grocery store and buy a bulk bag of like carrots and just continually eat carrots for your entire life ya dummy

I actually keep meaning to do that because I fucking love carrots, but I power shop because I want to get in and out as fast as fucking possible so I can minimize my time around other people and I just grab whatever is on the list my mom makes then scarper. When I go shopping its like im in a hazardous zone in a video game and I have a meter that slowly builds which is my social anxiety and if it peaks and have a panic attack.
welcome to the world of me having to go places alone.

the voice of the british isis militant
My friend is burmese and even though he has a adopted an american accent, he originally spoke with some manner of british one, and it still occasionally comes out when he's excited or drunk

how did i not hear this earlier
i dont really want to watch a reporter sitting there knowing he is about to die tbh
His accent sounds very natural. He grew up with it in any case, so he's probably from England or something. I remember reading that the UK PM was saying the UK was/is under threat of IS within the country, so it's not unlikely that he's from there.
I did that super popular ice bucket challenge
with a twist

there are actually quite a few videos filmed by IS fighters where you can hear foreign fighters speaking. a lot of british people in IS ranks. not to mention the fact they got 6000 recruits in one month alone.

they're a very legitimate threat to pretty much the entire world, they could easily be infiltrating european countries and the us. chances are they already have
bringing war to europe and the us is one of their stated goals and considering how they're doing in the middle east its entirely possible imo
I dont follow the IS thing very well save for what is posted to facebook.
are non muslim british citizens joining them? I dont even know what they stand for honestly, just that they're killing a lot of innocent people on purpose and bragging about it.
Well IS stole a shitload of money, raised an army and are fighting to create their own region in which they want to introduce Sharia law. They also want to see the downfall of the western societies because we kinda fucked up on some things over there..
Well that's what they say anyways.

Eh... Not really. IS as built support through being a nexus of fundamentalist, Islamic rule in the Middle East, and delivering on their promises of statebuilding. Extremists have been flocking to them because, holy shit, they can actually run a government, and not just consist of a bunch of renegades out in the hills.
But the IS has enough on its hands dealing with Iran, Israel, Saudi Arabia, which all have a vested interest in keeping the IS weak, let alone NATO countries. If the IS moved against the West, or tried to pull off a bomb attack, it would only galvanize the US and UK to intervene. The IS isn't composed of idiots, or they wouldn't have been as successful as they have been, and they're not about to bring the entire wrath of the US Armed Forces down on themselves if they can avoid it.
The real threat is insurgent wannabes being trained by the IS, then returning to their home countries to pull off some bombing scheme of their own without support from the IS proper.

Exactly, there's no need to directly endanger your multifaceted organization when you can have a lone wolf or small cell do the work for you.

Five Guys is considered casual dining since the food is made to order and not frozen. I was corrected many times during my time there :v:

well there are those big box tvs lol
plasmas, even our 10 year old one, can get better blacks, contrast, and color repro than most computer monitors (esp my shitty tn lol)...not that my roommates will care either way!
Just two more days left at Walmart including today. But both days involve being outside doing carts all day when it's cold and pouring rain
