I'm actually the only person I know IRL who doesn't have an iPhone
I had an S3. The bloatware still gives me flashbacks.
Yeah, its pretty bad. But I like the features it has so far, combined with the better price compared to an Iphone. Its not that hard to get rid of the bloatware either though
Y'all fools need some Johnny Hobo
Does listening to this make you feel anything? Like deep down? I tend to only listen to music that I can feel on a deeper level, and this just bounced off. I legitimately enjoyed Miley Cyrus' cover of that Zeppelin song more. And that is to say, I enjoyed it some, and this not at all. But I'm curious as to how somebody that does enjoy it views the piece. I know there must be some kind of value to listening to it for other's, or it wouldn't exist. It isn't like rap, where it would be created just for the money, so I know that the creator made it for a reason, but all that I can hear is angsty whining and absolutely no feeling. It doesn't evoke any reaction in me other than curiosity as to its value. Though that is the case with 99% of punk for me. Perhaps you can help me understand why it is a genre that has eluded me.

I know others think differently, but that's my feelings.
If I need music for feels I rely on a few bands. My latest favorite has been trampled by turtles, they have a really clear "feel" to most of their music Some music is just kinda fun though, like these two: (don't bash me for the soundtrack one, the first movie almost won an Academy Award for the soundtrack) (what a bad music video christ) still ashamed about those last two not gonna lie. The second one came up in my spotify radio station so at least I kinda have an excuse
+1 to Trampled By Turtles, good music

The only motivating factor for DIY punk like this is to the emotion behind it, no money, no fame. Not only that. But with punk I feel more at home with because I am not a rich pop star with money. What struggles do they have? What have they had that's so bad? Their voice may sound good, but it literally means nothing. Johnny Hobo is from baltimore. I have friends who knew him. He's a complete shit bag and he was homeless for a long time. edit: It's nice that you can feel the emotion in the music. But do you know if it's sincere?

The deer was in my way. It was guilty for obstruction of justice.

Personally it speaks to me more than pretty much any other music because it's real life shit. Generally it has a certain, rather abrasive sound, but if you can get past that there's a lot of soul in good punk. Also note that rap is not all about money. What you're thinking of is mainstream garbage. Underground hip hop and rap is actually really deep and emotion filled. Even many more successful groups still aren't about the money. Don't judge the whole genre on Kanye, Lil Wayne, Drake, and whoever else is popular right now.

But do you know if it's sincere?
Music doesn't have to be about bad things that have happened. And yeah, the emotion I feel conveyed in the music is something profound. Its not even like emotions. Its just a primal feeling, a syncopation with the rhythms beneath everything, and deep inside of me. I feel the magic of the music. I understand what conditions punk comes from, and I understand that they write what they feel, and I think that is really great, and wonderfully expressive, but I just feel no kind of connection. Its just music. It doesn't cause me to feel anything inside. It just bounces off like any of the meaningless music on the radio would, despite that it's written from life experience. There's no reason that it shouldn't connect, but it just doesn't. I could watch a live punk concert and it wouldn't mean anything, but I could watch Queen@Wimbley '85 and feel an intangible and indescribable thing pulling at my soul. I could listen to song's like what you linked and just feel lost, or listen to Frampton play and it would feel as though the subtle nuances of sound coming from his guitar speak to me. I could listen to Sleep, and become entranced, and be lost in my own mind, but any punk song I've heard would just sound like noise. I just don't get it. I was referring to mainstream "fuck bitches, i have more money than you, i do drugs all day" rap. so basically, what you're saying. Is just that you don't identify with the music and therefor you don't like it. It would of been easier to just leave it at it being your opinion. Punk has always been about connecting the audience to the singer. Notice how punk bands don't play sold out stadiums and shit? It's that feeling. also the minutemen the original skate punks. Against All Authority. (a band I identify so much this band has kept a fire burning inside me so I didn't commit suicide)
I sound like a fast zombie from HL2 when I laugh under my breath and hear it played back damn it lol.
Vocaroo it.
classes have begun I wasn't ready for this
Using personal Airsoft Kit for real shooting makes me moist. [t]http://i.imgur.com/AqFo34P.png[/t] Gun in pic is L86A2 LSW with SUSAT. Its pointless, its too front heavy so it just bobs down, its got a butt strap thing that's meant to allow you shoulder it while patrolling but the weight distribution is fucked so you can't keep it up. It's got a bipod on it that rattles while running unless you hold it, and you need orangutan arms to reach that far with it under your arm. On the brightside, acting as fire support is great fun and you feel like BIG MAN while using it, also full autos a nice change.
Do thy give you plates? [editline]15th September 2014[/editline] Also does anyone know about metal detectors? I want to get into that, but know nothing about the hobby. What are good brands, arethere different types of detectors, etc...
In the actual army I think its the Osprey Mk4 vest or you go out there naked. In army cadets? No need for them.
i love finding stuff like this on google images [t]http://i.imgur.com/asL72.jpg[/t]
That is vandy [editline]15th September 2014[/editline] Not to be confused with the impostor, vando
I saw a video that was made for Dark Souls 2 where they got a blacksmith make a set of armour from the game and now I want to get into blacksmithing. Unfortunately I have no idea where to start. =(
