No seriously what is the saddlebag for?
I knew somebody was going to say something. Call it blasphemy but I just think the shape of Mosin stocks is downright ugly. The thing I ordered is less of a saddlebag really and more of a cheekrest (which conveniently masks the ugly stock shape) and happens to have a small pouch and some bullet holders attached.

Not an employee, but a lot of those actually apply.
I went to Halloween Horror Nights last night and this was easily my favorite house

You know previously I used to think that the whole "college is what you make of it" thing was a huge cliche. But I'm beginning to realize that that is simply not true.
College is entirely what you make it. I went to the Uni's 3d printing club and spent a large length of time speaking to two club officers about their efforts in reworking firmwares, talked to some crazy fedora-wearing (but very kind) heavily-accented genius about his plans for hotend reworks, and talked to a guy who is outside of the university and brings in loads of internships in for members.
More than ten dudes in that club got internships by being asked by Stratasys and another company that does 3D printing for space tech to be an intern. And many more were able to slide right in with their applications for the internships remaining.
There is also a class here that offers you the ability to work side-by-side with a completely mad aerospace professor/rocket scientist. He has funding from NASA and his latest project is to create a rocket capable of launching from a probe, slamming into an asteroid, extracting a sample, and returning to the mothership.
He is testing the first iteration shortly by firing a rocket high up that will then promptly turn around and fire back down. Later in the year, he takes everyone in the class out camping in groom lake to do a bunch of rocket launching. Dude apparently gets showered in NASA grant money.
I had half a thought to stay in and play WoT tonight. Instead, I went to that meeting and met a bunch of neat people. I learned about a class that is really obscure but fits what I want to do PERFECTLY.
If I had stayed in I would not have discovered any of this. Get out there and find opportunities! If I can do it, any of you blokes can.

i just cant even contain my excitement about that space class fuck yes SPACE OH MY GOD YES
[editline]30th September 2014[/editline]
i scare myself, family members, and friends with the frantic pace i can reach talking about space
I found an '85 Celica GT-S for sale and I really want it, but I couldn't sell my bbwarz gear for enough to buy it, so there's no hope.
space and meetings and NASA
this can be applied anywhere in life tbh, Taepo i think you should take note of this.
Its a great thing to do and I know it can be really tough if you're quite shy / nervous about doing things on your own but the payout can be huge.
A few years back I went to a party with a friend but he had to leave about an hour in and i wanted to stay and get drunk, i got chatting to this guy and ever since that night me and him have been best friends. I've met so many new people, ive done things I never imagined I could do since meeting him. Hell, its improved my confidence ten fold.
I was in the same situation as some of you a few years ago but now I could happily go to events/parties/gigs/what ever on my own and get chatting and meet new people.
props to you paindoc for finding something you love and it seems like the people there are pretty chill, good luck if you can get on board with the space stuff.
Some asshole kid friendly fired me on the back of the neck and it scabbed up and is annoying the shit out of me
I was gonna email SovietArmyStuff about my order, and it actually came today :v:
So SB199 got signed into law today in California by the worst fucking governor ever, Jerry Brown.
Just when I get into the hobby this god damned state has to shit all over it. Thanks a lot Senator de Leon for being a fucking moron and writing legislation that conveniently does not regulate the paintball industry even though they have shit that can look just as realistic as an airsoft gun.
Fuck this state.

That's been pending for over a year and signed for about a month. There's probably not much that can be done about it now :c

Okay UK lads. Would an M203 count as a RIF. I mean, by themselves they don't look much like a gun. I want to get one to put on my M4 and I can't stand putting any more neon on it.
On the plus side if I ever got out of bbwarz my guns would have inflated as fuck prices
(hopefully never)
I'm assuming the neon coloration will be "non-removable" like the orange tips.
If not, I'm sure Krylon sales will go up.

Rumor is that the law will only effect any gun sold/made after 1/1/2016. Regardless, I'm going to be spending a lot of cash snagging up guns I want before I have to get them painted shitty neon colors.
A FUCKING DELOREAN WAS PARKED BESIDE MY HOUSE
I want to break up with my girlfriend but I know she's going to take it like, way too hard.
Fact of the matter is, we have basically nothing in common, and our schedules make it to where we rarely get to see each other.
And the days we do get to see each other, I'd generally rather be doing something else.
You and me are in distinctly identical situations. Tell me how your shit goes cause I really need some support with the same shit.
There was a DeLorean at the 50's style ice cream parlor in my area. It was gorgeous.
I made an impulse buy

I ask that if you wish for some quick entertainment you check my snapchat story :v: (breadcrab)
Some dudes on campus we're campaigning in a stall about how Obama is literally hitler and he's under control of Britain (a british puppet) and that he's going to cause world war III to create the greatest holocaust (and this the extinction of the human race) ever. So we must rise up now and impeach Obama-hitler now.

See that's actually hilarious. People who campaign on my university campus tend to be pro-lifers who put up giant pictures of aborted fetuses and literally say abortion is genocide on a worse scale than the holocaust. If that happens again this year I might actually rage at them.

they look hard to walk in and seems like a tripping hazard
so I got a gopro. made a short clip of me shooting my M1 carbine just to try it out. Just raw footage, so sorry about the hum, it's from the mic on my caldwells.

Where were you shooting?
Visited the surplus store today and found a bit of a gem. Picked up a good condition coyote North American Rescue WALK bag for hella cheap. They retail close to $400.

Not mine, but same thing.
looks like island lake
theres a little mouse living in the grill in my patio. My dog was sniffing at it and I looked inside and I saw a little mouse face looking back at me. I tried to get it out but it hid deeper in the grill so I put a piece of bread and a little thing of water in there and Im going to try and get it out tomorrow
[editline]1st October 2014[/editline]
I have a soft spot for mice because when I was a kid I was in my kitchen and heard squeaking coming from under the stove so i looked and there was a glue trap with three mice in it, 2 were dead and have decayed and the third was still alive and squeaking. it fucked me up for quite a while afterwords
