when you're sitting in a class and the teacher and the entire class enter an anti-war circle jerk and misremember history and use the word "murder" to describe a soldiers' death and be just plain plain not correct and throw around the word "manipulation" freely and go out of their way to reference video games and...
you want to explode but you also don't want to look like the aggressive nerdy asshole that likes war and probably plays video games, so you don't. the circlejerk is then complete.
Ugh I hate 99% of the people in college because they're either passionately like that or don't give a shit about anything other than twitter and partying.

Well, after saving for a little while I bought an iPhone 6+ awhile ago. And after over a month of waiting, the child slaves at Foxconn have finished building it and been paid their monthly cup of rice. Now the wait for it to ship from China to my loving embrace begins.
Those of you who are my friends on facebook already saw this, but I found something peculiar about my car today.

That is a .45 caliber bullet hole in my driver's side door frame.
[t]http://i.imgur.com/DSIgxgY.jpg[/t]
The fact that there is no exit indicates that it was either a ricochet, or had already passed through something to slow it down.

So I found out why I got this 2007 Saturn Ion so cheap..
And before anyone thinks I bought a hot car, it was purchased through a used car dealer and the title is in my name.
I did a drive by on that car before you owned it. Sorry for not telling you.
sorry i used it to escape one of my heists and the guy next to me nd'd
RIP Marvin

I find myself wondering how you failed to notice this when you first looked at it prior to buying.

Just inherited my great grandfather's ring. Pretty happy about that! Sorry for the crappy picture. The engraving is fading and I tried to get it as best as I could without natural light.
Yesterday my school received another bomb threat. Sheriffs department showed up and swept the entire school, but they didn't even find the person behind the first one either :tinfoil:
thanks to the gold members visiting my website sending (ur a fag messages), various different mopar and challenger searches on tumblr bring my website up as first <3

When the door is closed, you can't see it.
And when you're above it, it really doesn't look all that much like a bullet hole.
My passenger was actually the one that pointed it out to me today.
Not even a week after being set up, our classroom's desktop PC already has AdWare on it
Dunno who's dumber between teachers and students
Passed my driving test, I failed the first time in July and didn't practice at all except for the warmup before the actual test, but still did pretty flawlessly. Honestly, I felt nervous and tingly the whole time I waited and had the shits while standing in the cold from burritos the night before (Shaw's had a bathroom across the street, thank god).
I even got in a compliment for the tester who's more of a stickler for the rules, an older lady. She noticed I'm 18 and said she was 18 not too long ago and I replied, "Oh, I noticed." She said, "You pass!" and the sponsor guy behind me said I said the right thing. I always heard people's parents telling them before the test, "Put the tester in a good mood and they'll pass you." It does work after all.
I still want a bike though. Even if winter is near.

I've got an appointment set to take my test at 8:30 on Monday. I'd excited, because my dad needs a vehicle, so I'm letting him borrow my truck, which is in Atlanta. He's gonna get it down here to Florida, get everything on it fixed, and then add some stuff to it to repay me for letting him use it. So I'll get my license, and then a few weeks later I won't be stuck driving the SX4.
So I just found that a girl I was dating was only dating me to get back at one of my exes....
Just bought a headphone splitter so I can use my good headset with this laptop finally.
It's got one plug for dual headphone/microphone but my headset has separate pins for each so I haven't been able to use it. That'll change on Wednesday.

Having a license is great
and then car bills happen which suck
Got to do some interesting math for physics today (it was literally just pulling numbers from the book, I'm not that smart) about fusion reactions and the energy released by breaking atomic bonds.
A kilogram of deuterium-tritium fuel that is fused releases enough fuel to power 10k US homes for a year.
fusion now pls ITER hurry

oh i've also procrastinated working on this homework by relearning C# and trying to lay out the structure of a 2.5d tetris clone in unity
[editline]25th October 2014[/editline]
also 3d printing, my printer is having terribad bed adhesion issues so the calibration cubes keep coming undone about 30% of the way in and turn into a mess. Newest test with new slicer and increased bed temp is going well tho
Just finished at homecoming.
That was an expensive, awful waste of time. I don't even know why I bothered going.

Homecoming is usually never any good especially high school ones. Should've saved your money for prom or something. Did you go all by your lonesome or with friends?
Selling a bunch of my airsoft stuff to accumulate the remaining funds I need for a real Glock 19.
It is literally the perfect pistol for me.
Opened up a WWI-era book to scan the maps, hoping that the fold-outs would be small enough for the scanner
Then I get this gigantic monstrosity

Can someone versed in military history, particularly aeronautics, tell me why biplanes and triplanes fell out of use?

More wings = more drag.
I want this as a patch:

Does anyone else want one? I'd consider doing a bulk order and than selling them along with my remaining FP patch stock.
I also want one of these for myself but I doubt anyone else is into this sort of stuff:

It's kinda funny how the german planes are all kinda odd and cliche evil looking, feels so weirdly convenient.
Can someone versed in military history, particularly aeronautics, tell me why biplanes and triplanes fell out of use?
They used weak, inefficient engines so they had to maximize the wing's surface area in order to produce more lift. With today's technology, I guess it's just not necessary.
Biplanes are still being used as stunt and agricultural planes, though.
Nowadays low wing loading is the reasoning for biplane, allows for ridiculous maneuverability. Speed suffers but don't need that for stunts (as much)

I went with friends, but at some point I lost them in the giant mass of sweaty grinding teenagers.
