In other news, my Western Civilization teacher told some of my friends and I that we needed to tone down our video projects. In a normal situation, I would agree, but he has said on multiple occasions that this is a college class (it is, it counts for school credit as well as credit at the local community college) and that usual high school rules don't fully apply. Also, one of the students in his Sociology class brought in a poster about violence against women that was not only in the shape of a penis, but also had graphic photos of real rapes and murders, including full-on penetration, and that poster was hung up in the room for everyone to see.
I think my mostly-censored swear words and drug references are perfectly acceptable.
Found out why.
Some girl went home and watched the video, and apparently her parents saw it and freaked out about it. They contacted the administration and said they wanted the teacher fired. Overly-sensitive people are the worst.
Here's the video by the way, I've made it unlisted to try and stop some of the commotion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vSRsZk74lLo&list=UUU-tt6o6ylmKOYMMEkDHU1w
I keep getting random friend requests on Steam and Facebook from people I don't know, don't play any mutual games with, and have no mutual friends.
Every time I see one I'm just sitting here like "who the hell is that and what do they want"
[editline]3rd November 2014[/editline]
As such, if any of you ever track me down on Steam or Facebook and decide to add me, please PM me here on FP telling me who you are. Random out of the blue requests get old after a while and I ignore them if I don't know who they're from.
I just got another one this morning, I checked his friends list and all their names start with N, and there are a bunch of Ninja's.

Went to the range yesterday night. shot a bunch of guns and would have walked out with a CZ-P01 if they had one new. Brought my PTW in for repairs and should have that done soon enough and Im about done with my VBSS kit. now I understand why I sleep on an inflatable bed :v:
Today I finally went for lunch with that girl in my class. I didn't tell her about my step dad dieing because that's not something I want to dump on her just yet, but at least she did help keep it off my mind and for those couple hours we were together I almost forgot anything was wrong. And she said she wants to do something together again some time.
Any of you guys know anything about volunteer EMS work? I've got a good chunk of spare time on my hands nowadays and I want to do something worthwhile to someone other than myself. I've always been into first-aid type stuff and I'd like to put that interest into practice as well.
I know this is a bit late, but I've some experience in this area.
To do volunteer EMS stuff, you /will/ need some training. This can take quite a while to get through, but the plus side is that quite often the service will pay for your training. At least this is the case in the UK for the three major services, St Andrew's Ambulance/First Aid, St John Ambulance and the British Red Cross. These services do stuff from basic first aid and life support all the way up to fully fledged paramedical stuff. Most of these services will also pay for your kit and uniform.
In addition to these guys, there is community responders that I understand are also a thing in the US so you probably know what they do. They have similar levels of training to the groups I just mentioned (and some of them provide responders themselves). Community responders may be closer to what you are looking for as they actually attend emergency calls ahead of the actual ambulance services and provide support until the big boys arrive.
I've got to say that it is defenitley something I would recommend anyone to do. I've been doing it for ~2 years or so and the stuff you learn is incredibly useful, plus I get to attend music festivals, football games etc. which is a nice added bonus. It's also really opened my options to me; before volunteering I was going to do history at university, but now I realize that I really don't want to do that and instead I am aiming to join the ambulance service in Scotland and should be eligible soon if all goes well.
If you've got any specific questions, feel free to ask.
Well shit son(s) (ironic since about all of you are older than me), you guys seemed to be having a total shitfest lately. The only aggravating thing for me lately has been my G3 Hopup deciding that working was not an option.
On a side note: Emotionally conflicted. Gut feeling says that I like this one girl but my conscience says wait it out for a bit dipshit and see how things go. Probably all related to getting turned down back in like, April.
[sp]
My conscience is a dick sometimes. Yes I may or may not be referring to myself as a three way split personality or something of the sort. I'm probably not crazy. (And by "Gut feeling" I mean stuff like butterflies in your stomach, giddy feeling, and stuff like that.)[/sp]
Not looking like MMJ is gonna pass, despite a clear majority. Requires 60% to pass. Its a shame. So many people can benefit from it. My family personally has multiple members that it would be beneficial for. My aunt suffers from seizures on a daily basis, and CBD tinctures could reduce them. My grandfather and I both suffer from depression, which is greatly impoved by cannabis, and it also helps my anxiety. We are both noticeably friendly, and happier with use; Though the amendment only provided for more serious ailments, it would be the first step towards full medical application that would be apt for he and I.

wait until you actually have enough money to both buy it, and maintain it.
wait until you actually have enough money to both buy it, and maintain it.
Honestly the maintenance on it isn't that bad. Unless you are buying European parts for it(which you totally can but why when you can just get american parts for it?) the prices aren't that bad. Nothing goes over the $200 mark unless you're ordering from a european warehouse and thats a penny out of my monthly paycheck.
edit: not to seem like im speaking out of my ass but i owned a bmw before and the only reason that was expensive to repair was because of all the god damn computers in everything. This has electronics but theres no fucking computers that can shit on the car for no reason what so ever and cost $900 to fix.
yea the ECU on BMWs is hella pricey even if you're in the UK / EU.
Thats what made us dump our 7 series in our family, computers just kept going and going

I do have a few, actually. How did you get started with it? Did you just call up the local hospital or what?
I understand there's a pretty substantial amount of training involved and I'm okay with that, but how flexible are your hours/breaks? I live at college, so it could be a little difficult.
The community responder thing sounds a lot like what I'm looking for, I'll look around and see if there's anything similar near me, thanks.
So Ccleaner, kaspersky, MSE, Avast and Malwarebytes are unable to fix my computer. Avast's AV disc found no infected files, and I'm now running Kaspersky's rescue disk from a botable flash drive.
God help me. Even with Malwarebytes showing exactly what .dll file is trying to contact foreign IP'S, it can't fix it.
