I'm going to move to either Colorado, Oregon, or Washington in the next few years. Right now I'm just doing lots of research on them, their weather, etc. I live in Arkansas which is actually great, just not really great. It's a more cost-effective plan to stay here but I want to move away. As it stands I live in a house my dad is renting to me and a friend, my dad is my boss and is paying me poorly for the kind of work I'm doing (producing all of their TV and online advertising). Just ready to start my career in the actual design world not for my dad. He still talks like oh yeah you'll own the company some day (retail flooring and furniture sales) but I reeeeaaaallly have no desire to. He's also convinced I'm going to make him an offer on this house lol.
Things I'm looking for:
•Low humidity
•Insane mountain bike trails
•Suburbs with possible 1hr proximity to a large city (not much closer)
•Not incredibly intense 2ft+ snow winters
I've got one class remaining to graduate and then It's the waiting game for my girlfriend to graduate...and then there's the whole proposal thing.
eastern Washington, Spokane area is worth a look then.
Found out yesterday my first station will be to RAF Croughton, near Oxford. Woo!
Hi Fragg :)
Tark I honestly didn't even notice it was you talking about tech school and the military and shit ever since you stopped using bird avatars.
how long have you been in?
[editline]8th November 2014[/editline]
also Oxford is neat but go to Cambridge and York those are my two favorite towns. Cambridge I'm biased towards though, since I did live very near there :v:
[editline]8th November 2014[/editline]
AND DAMN YOU you get a commissary with american food! We had to have my Grandfather talk to some old friends to get us passes to the military base near us. We would drive an hour and a half for bottles of A1 and Taco Bell
Suddenly I'm feeling indifferent about my 9-month relationship.
This has never happened before.
wait no, it's that other thing. This happens every single time.
Thanks for the tip paindoc.

I've been in around 5 months now, not very long. I'll be in Tech School for another 4 months before I go operational. I'll be keeping Cambridge and York in mind, is it feasible to take a day trip to places like those? I'm not used to the size of things over there. You don't still leave near there do you?

I do not live there still, but day trips are piss easy for the most part. Especially by train, I think. Once you get closer to moving over there I have a whole ton of info that will hopefully make life easier for you over there (although, living on a base will make acclimating easier than being thrown in the deep end haha)

Hi Fragg :)
hello
I get to spend the night over at a clinic tonight to find out why my body doesn't go fully paralyzed when I sleep. Ooh what will it be?
If I recall isn't that during normal REM sleep, neurotransmitters release a mixture of chemicals that allow it in the first place?
If I recall isn't that during normal REM sleep, neurotransmitters release a mixture of chemicals that allow it in the first place?
If by "that" you're referring to what he just described, no. Muscle atonia is induced during REM to prevent you from acting out your dreams and potentially hurting yourself - at least, that's how it's supposed to go. The fact this doesn't happen with him tells me he may have some kind of RBD. I'm tired as fuck right now (and I've been drinking) so I can't call on all the shit I learned as an RPSGT, but good luck dude, hope they get it all squared away.
Got to see and meet Peter Hook last night and also Andy Rourke apparently.
did not go on date, she was working, instead ran into ex and did something that i may/may not regret
anything with an ex you'll probably regret lol
I see a lot of us have been dumb and experienced this haha
anything with an ex you'll probably regret lol
It was fun and wild but I don't plan on repeating it. Sex with ur ex isn't for the best.

One never does :v: but it sure does seem like a good idea at the time when all of your testosterone is coursing through you and you feel like you did when you were dating for 10 minutes.
And then you're done and you go,
:L
I dated a girl for two YEARS and after a terrible breakup we hung out and got horny and tried to make it a friendship with benefits thing
holy shit nothing could have worked out less in that moment.
I want to get some gloves for when I go shooting this winter, but my biggest problem is my hands. I have a tough time finding gloves that fit because I have such big hands. Any recommendations for big gloves that would work well with firearms?

Not sure what type of gun you have but you could always get an oversized trigger guard to help with that:

I'm pretty sure Magpul makes one as well. As far as gloves go just try and find something with the proper weight of thinsulate based on your winter weather.
had a customer at work (starbucks) order and pay for $50 worth of shit and drive away when I went to get it from the bar, they drove away. I thought they were coming in or I was being pranked
they never came back, I never met ashton kutcher, and I was horribly confused for the rest of my shift
what stopped me form even running mechanix or w/e gloves that most airsoft stores sell was that mm difference completely ruined my whole flow. The lack of direct feeling on mags and stuff hurt my overall game. I've run plenty of games gloveless in the cold and getting my hands deep as shit in the snow. It gets cold as hell, sometimes i don't want to move my fingers but i've never gotten frost bite or serious injury from it.
If you've never played in the winter/super cold gloveless before you may want to try it at-least once with gloves on standby. Usually the running around, the stress of being shot at keeps your blood pumping and hands slightly warm.
Other thing to do is loadup on those handwarmer packets or something. They help a lot.
there was a video on reddit of some guy catching his "roommate" dancing to shana eastons morning train
i had to try it for myself and turns out morning train has the perfect beat for using a wet swiffer to clean our floors
my baby takes the mornin train...
whoever invented tinder is the god of men
this shit is so easy
Tinder is where I get a lot of my dates and stuff these days. I just swipe right on everyone and sort them out as they come.
i swipe right on about 1/5 of them and im still getting dates/casual hook ups, this app is too good
I'm taking this into sportclips and telling them to do my hair like this:

My girlfriend- whom I've been dating for the past five months- and I met on Tinder. Couldn't be happier c:
Tinder (and other online dating stuff) works like shit over here, there's not that many people using it, and I never seem to get matches. And whenever I do, I don't know what to write :suicide:
I got matched with a cute girl on tinder once and we agreed to go for coffee but that ended up not happening.
On the plus side that girl I went for lunch with last week does seem to be kind of interested in me but I don't want to jump to conclusions too quickly
