So went to my first consoling appointment today. Found out that I do in fact have some sort of depression. It may be borderline personality disorder, Aspergers or clinical depression so... eh. [editline]23rd May 2013[/editline] I also started anti-depressants. Dang.
The city ender and i live in don't really get any jets, but moffet field is like 15 mins away and there's a pararescue wing stationed there so we get C-130s and MH-60Gs all the time. Nothing but C-130s and MH-60Gs.
One of my neighbors has his own helicopter and takes off from his back yard a lot. My other neighbor is some ex-Red Army general or something like that and always mows his lawn drunk while singing songs in Russian.

I think they're kinda ugly to be honest
dunno if there's any QotSA fans here, but their new album "...Like Clockwork" is pretty fucking radical [video=youtube;C9OfBcjyxKY]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C9OfBcjyxKY[/video] love this song, probably my favorite on the new album
I'm not really a QotSA fan. But that songs pretty damn awesome!
i had never listened to QotSA before, but i saw that song posted and decided to check it out regret not getting into them sooner. apparently the lead vocalist for QotSA is part of Dave Grohl's super group "Them Crooked Vultures" which i heard was awesome too also on an off note, is Privacy Glass not the coolest fucking invention ever? just look it up if you dont know what it is
Hell yeah, finally picked one up [t]http://puu.sh/2ZUIR.jpg[/t] should be surfing soon !! [editline]23rd May 2013[/editline] (not so light blue irl lol)
I picked up a wool uniform recently for my WWII reenacting, and I get to wear that bitch in the California weather.. I do like the wools a LOT better than the HBTs (Herringbone twills) that I used to wear before hand. The wools are correct for many more impressions, and they are also a part of my dress uniform that I need to go to all the period correct parties and outings, such as going to some period broadway shows with all my pals in our Class A's, then going to period correct clubs afterwards.
So I stumbled across a box of various Atari 2600/7800 games at a garage sale. Amidar Asteroids Choplifter Combat Dig Dug Fast Eddie Joust Math Gran Prix Pac-Man Pole Position 2 Race Super Breakout Target Fun Warlords Yars' Revenge The games are a bit beat up, how much do you think I could get for the lot on eBay? I like retro gaming and all, but I have no intentions of getting an Atari any time soon. I think they're kinda ugly to be honest[/QUOTE] I was never a big Lockheed fan. The only Lockheed things I like are the P-38, SR-71, and F-104. The F-22 I think just got boring after being plastered all over every Ace Combat game and Transformers movie, and I don't know what the fuck they were thinking when they designed the F-35 and gave it a razorback cockpit. Pilots reported to have lost every gun battle to F-5s, F-16s, F-15s, and A-4s because of their inability to see directly behind them. In fact, some USAF pilots reported that they only had 180 degrees of visibility, which is pretty bad.
Haven't been on here for over 9000 days. How's everyone doin?
lovely
I miss my old house, it was directly under a military helicopter flight path, so Marine 1 and Blackhawk helicopters flew over my house just about every day, normally 3 times a day minimum, and I was <5 miles from a major international airport so we had loads of civilian air traffic too. Now I live in the city, and while Police choppers are still really cool, its uncomfortable for them to be orbiting your neighborhood with a spotlight on.
Sometimes I see Apaches or jets fly over.
Constantly got chinooks or spitfires and lancasters flying over. There's about 20 reenactment societies spread around my county so they're like regularly zipping around the castle.
I get Blackhawks, Chinooks, and Cobras.
The Texas Gulf Coast(relative area of where I live) was a key part of transporting vehicles and supplies to Afghanistan and Iraq during earlier stages of the war. I remember being a kid and seeing trains with all sorts of military vehicles like APCs, partially disassembled tanks, Humvees, and a variety of others I don't know what to call. It was so cool, and the railroad was close enough to my house I could just walk over there and look at military shit until the train left.
I used to see apache almost every day at school
One day in Freshman year the husband of someone who worked at the school died, they were high up in the Air Force, I forget the specifics, but there were F15s flying in formation around town, they went over the school a couple times when I was outside for gym. Other than that the only planes I see in my area are the Cessna type civilian planes, some helicopters, a couple times I've seen a Blackhawk, and the contrails from airliners like everyone gets.
I've seen Jap Chinooks fly in formation while I was idling around in my hometown Also some olde dubyadubya two prop planes at the beach in formation one time
when i was in washington DC at the Hains Point, East Potomac Park (the awakening statue) i was chilling by the river with my brother when we saw two specks on the horizon. didnt realize they were fighter jets doing a VERY low pass right over us while going VERY fast. couldnt have been more than 1000 feet above us. suddenly they were right over head and everything was shaking and you couldnt hear anything and it was so cool. i think they were either f-14s or fa-18s. my sister got a picture and i remember they had two engines with afterburner visible. SHIT WAS GOING FAST [editline]24th May 2013[/editline] [IMG]http://homesthetics.net/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/The_Awakening_1.jpg[/IMG] thats the statue btw, looking at the river in the same direction we were.
"help im drowning in dirt god damn it stop taking pictures of me and give me a hand here"

I'm reading Red Storm Rising right now. It's pretty good. Kinda wish Clancy had given us a Boot in Germany's perspective though.
Done with Junior year whoo! At home getting ready to go on a hike and overnight camp. See you guys on Saturday. What a way to start summer break.
I don't know what the hell some of you were talking about, Random Access Memories is great.
