So here's a long story about guns. We bought my Mom a Mossberg 500 for Mother's Day because everyone needs a gun and she always said she'd prefer a shotgun over anything.
After a week or two she finally decides to learn to shoot it. Turns out there are two issues. The most notable one is that the shotgun isn't feeding from the magazine. You can rack it as hard or as much as you like but 9 times out of 10 the shell wouldn't feed. Second issue was that my Mom quickly learned she didn't like 12 gauges at all. She thought it would be a better idea to put a pistol grip on it so it wouldn't hurt her shoulder and would be shorter. I had an extra mossberg grip laying around but obviously she didn't go for that because it hurt her wrist now and all. Looked cool though.
So I let her try my 20 gauge. She liked that much better so for now at least we traded guns. So I had this mossberg. I played around with it and figured out it was the shell interrupter catching on the shells when it wasn't supposed too. So I grinded it down a bit and now it works flawlessly. It's weird though since it was brand new out of the box from Mossberg and technically broken.
I have an M500 airsoft gun with all these real-steel accessories I had for it so I transferred them over and made it so tactical it hurts.

Tac-Star Six-Shell Saddle, Magpul MS3 Sling, Heat-Shield, Flashlight Mount and a Tactical Energizer Flashlight (Run off AA's and are really bright). I even took the ghost ring sight off my M500, milled a new screw hole into it and now I have my airsoft ghost ring on my real Mossberg.
I heard about Remington having serious QC issues, but Mossberg?
The community isn't helpful. Like maybe 1 out of a 100 people get this issue either with new or used Mossberg's and when they post threads about it the response is always "I've never heard of a Mossberg having an issue, I'd see a gunsmith." or something to that effect.
So I basically just gathered enough from watching the action of the interrupter and seeing all the threads about it and decided to take it apart. The interrupter had a big burr on it where it was literally gnawing at the plastic of the shells that did past it and the piece it's self was just ever so slightly too long so I filed it down and now it works. Again, this was brand new only five rounds through it at that point fired and maybe cycled 40 just watching and trying to figure it out.

Seems like a p. good deal to me. Especially if it's coming with the assload of spare parts he mentioned.
The only thing to keep in mind is that engine and tranny rebuilds are not necessarily a good thing. It may have been rebuilt <5k km ago, but they ultimately still have 230k km on them

I miss my bubbler :( i hope my mom gives her back soon.
Bubs are awesome, I was going to buy a bong but couldn't resist.
The first one is blue balls, and the other one is tentakush.
Sorry but looking at those all I can think of is "Sex Toys"
I guess? Different perspectives.
I have a few hand-pipes and a bubbler.
But I usually stick to papers for a few personal reasons.
I love j's
