thats funny, because when I was a kid, my friend had a springer mp5 and his brother had a springer m4 and we used to shoot wasp's nests around my house.
Oh man, you've reminded me. A year ago I had this fucked up dream three times over the course of about a month and I don't think I've told anyone about it yet. My apologies Facepunch lol, might want to skip this over. My friends and I were all running around in this massive open underground cave system lit by a hundred-foot-wide opening to the sky miles away, and we were slaying all these monsters and rescuing our other friends from cages. It reminded me a lot of God of War but not quite as morbid and by the time we had most of our friends out we were in pretty high spirits. Time comes we go to cross a big, wide rope bridge and fuck me, there's some demon lady with a massive bow and she shoots the ropes so that the bridge turns vertical and we're left dangling. If I recall she apologized to us for it at some point and didn't seem happy about her job. She proceeded to start picking us off of the bridge one by one, not the best feeling looking to your left to see a giant arrow pierce through your buddies ribcage, and they'd go limp and slink off of the bridge while everyone else screamed in abject terror. I decided "might as well" and let go of the bridge before my turn came, falling a few hundred feet below to a shallow pool and breaking just about everything. For not knowing how it would actually feel, it felt pretty damn awful. I believe if it was reality I'd have died outright. I tried to gain my bearings and realized a cute girl I knew had fallen beside me among other bodies and was whimpering quietly. I attempted to grit through it and crawled over to her, which was beyond fun when your body feels like it's made of broken glass. Another body fell nearby and she screamed a bit. I realized I could still hear echoes from everyone else screaming above as well. I managed to get up next to her and tried to speak, instead only able to cough up blood (although I believe it was a different color, like applesauce) so instead I just reached for her face and brushed her cheek, she looked over at me and another body fell nearby. I think she tried to say something to me but I believe I began 'passing out' as my hearing and vision started to fade out.
One of those 'wake up in a cold sweat' kind of things, which got progressively worse each time I had it.
Mm, that was definitely weird to type out. I wish I could put into words how real it felt compared to most dreams I can remember.
I had a lot of weird dreams lately. One was that I was getting my dick sucked on a playground, but the girl was an alien jelly slug monster in disguise and ate me. Another was that me and my friend's mom became best friends. In another my lady was pregnant. Last night's had something to do with pillows but I forgot.

I'd say check it out. I don't really have anything to compare it to, but I rather enjoy the driving bits. Pretty fun stuff.

sucks for you, when I drop in my dreams I never break anything despite the fact that I'm terrified of it.
Work is complete, time to buy drugs.
Doing a research paper on the AK-47 in my college english class lol
In 7th grade I was told to write an essay on an object that had changed the world.
I chose the AK-47, and they called my parents. (Literally to tell them that I was writing about a non-school appropriate topic)
In 9th grade, I was told to write a paper explaining how skills learned in school could carry over to real life.
I wrote a two page essay comparing just about every aspect of my school to a prison, and they called my parents. :P
It's funny how many times my parents were called over my schoolwork and never over fighting or anything.
I think the worst thing I ever did in school was draw on some kid with a sharpie.
(edited for better format and further explanation)

What the fucking fuck. But that IS an object that seriously changed the world. I would say that's a better topic to choose than say the cell phone or the internet.
I wrote a research paper about someone you'd like to come to your school in 10th grade and I wrote it about Adolf Hitler because he saved Germany's economy. I got suspended.

In grade 9 English I had to write an essay on some piece of technology that sounded good on paper but was actually shit. I wrote on the Ross Rifle. No phone calls home.

I quoted Kalashnikov for my Senior Quote
they didn't publish it
if I ever had an essay that I had to write at home, I just didnt do it

I quoted Ice Cube "If a day does not require an AK then it is good"; wasn't published either
I had a class on ergonomics and human-computer interaction where we had to take one technology (any technology) and discuss its ergonomic shortcomings and how to make it better.
The rest of the class did stupid obvious shit like Internet Explorer, and Steam, and Xbox Live, and dumb stuff like that. Did my group do a piece of software? Fuck no. We talked about how the AK is ergonomic dogshit and suggested ways to make it a better firearm. Hippie professor was mildly impressed.
back when I was in grade 3, i got put into "detention" by the computer teacher because I looked up the history of USS United States (the carrier) on the school computers
back in high school fish and I once got sent to the office for drawing guns. The teacher told them she though we were terrorists and were going to shoot up the school
Kind of unrelated, but
I just read a story on Reddit about a JROTC drill team guy that threw his rifle up, and it came down and hit him in the head knocking him unconscious.
The coach told a student to call 911 because his head was bleeding and he might have a concussion.
Soon afterwards a SWAT team and 20 cops show up because the student explained the emergency as "My friend just got hit in the head with a rifle and he's bleeding, we're at blah blah high school."

....you would.
I never got put into detention or suspended or put aside or anything for any of these crazy things that I had my fair share of.
Is it not normal for children to be intrigued and excited by violence and explosions?
land of the free!!!
