[videos] "Isolated"
If the theory is that they silence 'controversial views', then why do they let them get so far through their point before cutting them off? The fact that you can compile this list clearly shows that none of them were cut off soon enough to prevent them from making their points, so why the hell would they do this? And also posting the one with Sanders is disingenuous as fuck, we all know they continued exactly where they left and even referenced the joke when they got back on. [editline]8th March 2017[/editline] In fact, all of them could be like that. I suppose that's why a couple of YouTube video clips aren't good evidence. How about posting some written statements from people who were supposedly cut off?
This is starting to become embarrassing.
This is starting to become embarrassing.
For whom?
For whom?
I'm embarrassed for Tudd, and I'm starting to experience some secondhand embarrassment for myself at this point.
So... either CNN don't know what kinda guest they're putting on, or they're inviting people in order to conspicuously cut their feed in the middle of the whole thing? For some reason? I don't know, this sounds pretty dumb.
I don't really watch much TV, but this happens on NPR a lot with the few live segments they do. Can't really see this as being all that sinister if they've already given the people a platform to talk on already. Also Tudd, I got a homework assignment for you: Why don't you find something to post that is neither politically motivated nor bashing of things traditionally labled progressive. I'd be interested to see what the fuck you're interested in besides "RAWR LIBERALS ARE EVIL TRUMP GOOOOOOOD"

Also, I do post neutral stuff/interject much into a piece alot of the time. Though you really shouldn't since you haven't done anything. I don't mind if it turns out to just be legit technical issues for all of them (Though the SMTPE ones seem hard to explain from every post regarding these examples), but it unfortunately happens at the worst times and just looks awful especially if they don't follow up.
Tudd is a living stereotype
You know Tudd, didn't you make a post like this a few months ago and someone posted all the fucking shit that happened after wards (like alot of the people being brought back and being allowed to go where they left off, like it was an actual technical issue) and then you didn't reply anymore? Or is that another right wing poster making the same stuff as before?
Cause none of that mess really changed the situation/problems in Sweden. Just Fox News being awful.
I'd like it if you stopped assuming you know everything about my country. It's pretty fucking annoying. Thanks.
(Though the SMTPE ones seem hard to explain from every post regarding these examples), but it unfortunately happens at the worst times and just looks awful especially if they don't follow up.
So, maybe you can find some statements by those people who were cut off? I imagine I'd be very angry if I was invited on television and were cut off just before making my key point. It looks to me like they, in all your examples, already have made their points by the time they get cut off, so what does CNN have to gain by 'censoring' them? How are we supposed to know whether or not they follow up on them, when you're just linking random YouTube clips of it? I know for sure they followed up on the one with Sanders, and in the OP the interviewer actually said she was going to wrap up the interview, so there wasn't even going to be more to it in the first place. Can you at least try to explain the thought process of CNN from the assumption that the theory here is correct? Assume that they actually hit a kill switch to blatantly censor these people. Why do they do this, when they are apparently incapable of doing it before the key point is made? [editline]8th March 2017[/editline] The continued obsession over the state of Sweden is really crazy, too. It was literally spawned by Fox News and POTUS lying about Sweden, and now you're borderline obsessing over whether or not the refugee crisis is problematic anywhere in Sweden. Weirdly, though, whoever made this video seems to be suggesting that Chris Collins did get censored, yet goes on to specifically mute Chris Collins in the followup segment themselves.
