Keith mentioned in his biography he toured with Hendrix extensively, Hendrix often video taped Keith's concerts with a hand held camera (I wonder what happened to those recordings?). When forming what eventually became ELP one of the percussionists they chose was the drummer from The Experience, who decided he wasn't going to join the band but felt Hendrix might be interested. Hendrix was going to try out and jam with the band (by now they had recruited Carl), but died a week or two before the date they agreed to get together.

Lynyrd Skynyrd
From First to Last. They've been around since the very late 90's and are now on hiatus. Yeah, they're still around, but this hiatus feels like a century even though it's only been going on since the early months of summer this year.
Span, Norwegian rock band, really awesome.
2 albums.
The "real" AC/DC :(
Led Zeppelin.
Thin Lizzy
Reuben, not really due to death but due to Jamie Lenman's inability to go on with it:

They had so much fucking potential...
Led Zeppelin.
I disagree, they were kind fading out of their prime. I mean it sucks that Bozo died, but they had a good run.
I personally think that it was gonna be quittin' time sooner rather than later
Also I have another addition, The Getaway Plan
Their only album they released before breaking up was completely awesome, everytime I listen to it I think what could've been ;(
Lil bow wow RIP his butt
