No CCR? I Put a Spell On You. and of course their most famous Fortunate Son
Windir. 10 years active but could've been more. Damn you snow
This, oh god this.
I jizz at the thought of more songs from Led Zeppelin.
Slash's Snakepit (either incarnation, imo) could have been badass. And Scott Weiland would have been very awesome if he continued with Velvet Revolver, however the rest of the band will probably pull off something good assuming they get a decent singer.
J Dilla, one seriously talented, influential and unique producer and artist who collaborated with some big names but never really got the mainstream recognition I think he deserved. He's one of the few musicians I could quite happily sit back and listen to all day. Airworks (Donuts) E=MC² (feat. Common)
Phil Ochs diead at age 36, kinda young.
the unicorns neutral milk hotel i mean, nobody died, but they broke up too soon.
Kaiser chiefs They were too awesome but "Never miss a beat" ruined the band to be honest
Tupac :(
Just Kurt, but fucking Nirvana man.
Men at Work
Bump since I just found out. Rinoa :saddowns:
Ozzy Osbourne hasn't been mentioned? Well, the band didn't die, but after Randy died he never ever did anything better than his first two solo albums
Ozzy Osbourne hasn't been mentioned? Well, the band didn't die, but after Randy died he never ever did anything better than his first two solo albums
Yes. Randy Rhoads was a fucking god.
Cream, with Eric Clapton, Jack Bruce and Ginger Baker
They still had a pretty good run.
Ozzy Osbourne hasn't been mentioned? Well, the band didn't die, but after Randy died he never ever did anything better than his first two solo albums
The thread is about bands who had their lifespan cut short and never got to make more music. Fair enough for Randy Rhoads but as you said Ozzy Osbourne continues to this day to make music (rather disappointing music too) so he doesn't really belong in this thread
Pendulum died after Hold Your Colour, does this count?
I should've posted the getaway plan, but they're reforming and I get to see them in February!
fucking Botch, man. True pioneers of the chaotic metalcore/mathcore scene. Never forget.
