Halo in 5 minutes. - General

Even playing through all the games, I never really understood that story very well. Just the part about don't let the flood take over the galaxy and don't destroy everything with the halos.

Wow, when I beat Halo 3 in one sitting, I must have not been listening AT ALL. There was so much in there that I don't even remember.

Has anybody decided whats on the planet the Chief and Cortana were drifting to?

It is the planet from Marathon.

Read the books "Fall of Reach" and "First strike". Fall of reach is about the becoming of the Spartans and everything up to the beginning of the first halo book. First strike takes place between halo 1 and halo 2. Both written by the same author.

It's way deeper than that, if you play the game an explore all the levels completely you find LOADS of hidden story.

Why is everyone who posts something about halo sucking getting rated dumb? This is backwards.

The halo storyline makes sense you gotta be a retard not to understand it

I still haven't played halo 3 ... need to do so. Also, i kinda like the story-line. Pity it was fragmented throughout the games not very well.

Without anything to take over, most of the flood perished/decayed over the long period of time. However, the Forerunners were stupid enough to store some of the Flood on the rings (although they did try to keep them contained).

This is what i heard from a source on bungie.net sometime ago. You see the planet at the end of that vid, the one behind Cortana and Master Chief's ship? yeah, well apparantly that is the flood homeworld, don't know if it is right or not, but i beleive it, because it would be a cool twist.
