They would all die, and the flood with them, but not before ensuring the repopulation of the galaxy. And the preservation of the flood for future study. Heh... "study".

The complete story isn't actually as bad as I remember. Shame that it was executed so terribly.

What do you mean? The Halo games are epic, in fact Halo 2 is the most cinematic game I recall playing. And that's beating Wing Commander IV which is basically an interactive movie with some flying inbetween.

It's a summary of the key points of the story. Sure there are thousands of more events that take place in the Halo Universe, however it would take hours, even days, and many videos to go through everything.

What's the point?[/QUOTE] I believe that they wanted to activate the rings while ON the Ark, since they are JUST outside the firing range of the 7 Halos. They fired them, and that must explain why humans started out in Africa, since the portal is in Africa.

I wish they brought Halo 3 out on PC, i played it all on 360 but after watching that i missed so much of the story. When i play games on consoles i'm too busy concentrating on aiming to what's actually happening around me, i'm not to good at FPS's on consoles. Games on PC just feel so much better with the crisper high resolution picture.

Honestly, it kinda makes me want to go play Halo. I've only ever tried a couple of levels from each game and just said "Well this is underwhelming." Maybe I'll go give it another try...
