You probably missed his secret stash of fedoras
fedora isn't a catch-all for gross people
Just went to my friend's place and got a good bit of relationship advice from him, since I'm going to ask this girl out tomorrow. What I learned most from talking to him and learning about his own experiences is that everything I'm feeling is healthy and normal.
Are you me? This literally is what happened to me when i and my friend walked home from school and i chilled at his place for a bit Its like he literally understands the stress of the situation im going through and gave pretty deep advice, something id never expect come out of a person like him Hes also really adamant on getting me with the girl too and seems pretty dedicated to it

I got rejected, but she said it wasn't because of me, but because she recently left a long relationship. However, she wants to remain friends and still hang out with me. That was the first time I've ever asked out a girl. It hurt to be rejected, but didn't last very long. The anxiety of wanting to ask her out is long gone too. My plan is to continue silently pursuing her by hanging out with her, at least until someone else comes along. [editline]12th November 2015[/editline]
Are you me? Good luck on your own romantic pursuits.
You probably missed his secret stash of fedoras
Just a follow-up, but that whole experience actually ended up being awesome for me because I had an exam on personality disorders in my abnormal psych class today, and the guy I "dated" has textbook narcissistic personality disorder. I'll chalk it up to an interesting bit of fieldwork. Makes it a lot easier to study for an exam when you've already had firsthand experience with the material.
I wish I could study electrical engineering by dating too.. :(
I wish I could study electrical engineering by dating too.. :(
'aha i'm going to ace this test, i hung out with this resistor just yesterday' [editline]12th November 2015[/editline] sorry that's the best i could come up with
I found it funny because I had an Electronics II test yesterday and I got fucked hard by a transistor in a circuit. (didn't remember how to draw it in a small signal schematic)
had a party with some friends last weekend and we all got super drunk and i ended up telling one of my best friends that i had a crush (I hate that saying, I feel like I'm too old to say it) on one of our other friends and she was like "oh i did not expect that but i am 100% behind you and let me know what i can do to help" but i don't want to ask for help because i feel like that would be super weird too. any ideas?

He seems like a true friend, in my opinion.
Anyone here know why a girl that has openly shown enjoyment of dates with me, texting me back relatively fast for a couple hours, then not responding for 2 days?
Friends are there to give you advice. After that she gave me the greenlight and I asked her out, pretty simple stuff. It didn't last, but that's another story.
So I met this girl and we've been hanging out for a few months now. Anyway she treats me in her boyfriend in every way but when I asked her for a relationship she said she doesn't want a relationship with me because shes had bad experiences with them. My question is what the fuck do I do? I don't think she'll want a relationship for a long time but I get along with her so well and really do see a future if we were together. But right now there's no commitment and its just shit tbh without it.
how do i talk to a girl who serves food behind a counter but isn't a cashier so she doesn't need to talk to the customers ie me [editline]13th November 2015[/editline] whats a good opening line other than 'did you make these'
dont
'are you on the menu because i am a cannibal'
I'll do it and if she reacts and says 'me too' I'll know to keep away
don't do that becauase that is a terrible line [editline]13th November 2015[/editline] just be like "can i get a number 7 and also whatever your number is wink wink"
don't do that becauase that is a terrible line [editline]13th November 2015[/editline] just be like "can i get a number 7 and also whatever your number is wink wink"
nudge nudge noimserious
nudge nudge noimserious
for real though like "hey I saw you once and we didn't talk let's bang ok" is there a time where she gets off work or something idk :v:
my suggestion was not a joke
for real though like "hey I saw you once and we didn't talk let's bang ok" is there a time where she gets off work or something idk :v:
I've no idea I've never spoken to her but i guess i could find that out by not asking if she's a cannibal
I've no idea I've never spoken to her but i guess i could find that out by not asking if she's a cannibal
maybe you should like talk to her before you ask her on a date, you don't even know what she's like
maybe you should like talk to her before you ask her on a date, you don't even know what she's like
That's what I'm aiming to do, but how do I open the conversation ?
That's what I'm aiming to do, but how do I open the conversation ?
i don't know how to talk to people but maybe something like "want to get a coffee when you get off work" or w/e something short?
i don't know how to talk to people but maybe something like "want to get a coffee when you get off work" or w/e something short?
I was thinking of asking if she wanted lunch together sometime because its so loud where she is so we can talk, do you think that's a bad idea?
