Nature's a bitch. Good thing I live in NYC, we haven't had anything major happen in years. It's relatively safe from stuff like hurricanes and earthquakes.

Anything higher than a 4 is a five, in which case you are usually fucked anyways so calling a 6 would just be pointless. Though I'd imagine if you could get the Atlantic hot enough you could create something worthy of being called a 6. The wind speeds would pretty much take out anything.
