Well for Boston it is.

Clumsy twat.

If you remember that bald guy's review. He stated a bad point about the group is that the expression isn't "real". That's bollox, expression doesn't have to have happened. It's as dumb as saying a book is bad because it hasn't happened realistically.
Tyler makes it seem real enough.
Tyler makes it seem real enough.
That's the whole point of why I think it's good. Musically it may not be as good as the legendary albums, but expression is what matters.
I wish I could get them in the UK. Arghhh.
They must be on ebay or something.

But I can think of many other artists who are the same. It's not factual, it's just his emotions, and to be honest, it's more entertaining than it would be if it where factual. Although I do love stuff like Goblin and Bastard which are a bit more factual.
It's as dumb as saying a book is bad because it hasn't happened realistically.
This basically. [editline]13th May 2011[/editline]
They must be on ebay or something.
I looked round on the eBay uk site, and there were only crappy ones that where obviously made in some guy's local printshop.
Eminem didn't mean a word he said, so where's the controversy in this? It's artistic, deal with it.
Exactly.
Yup. Do you think bands like Cannibal Corpse that sing about murder and guts and shit are actually murderers and carry out the acts in their lyrics in real life? Of course not. It's exactly the same thing and it's fucking stupid to get angry or offended by it, none of the artists like this mean anything they say.
none of the artists like this mean anything they say.
There are some.
Tyler makes it seem real enough.
Goblin is actually pretty disturbing in parts
What, ones that mutilate corpses and murder people? Rather unlikely... :v: But the bands that are all National Socialist or anti religion or all that shit do tend to mean it. But at the same time quite a lot do it satirically or just for shock value. [editline]13th May 2011[/editline]
Goblin is actually pretty disturbing in parts
I agree. And I find the way he expresses it, even though it's fake, to feel very very real.

I don't think Goblin's that disturbing, though maybe it's cause I think a lot about this kinda stuff before I even listened to their music.
wrong thread whoops
Was it the abstract nature or the "hardcore" nature that brought you in?
It was more the honesty in the darkness of the rap they do. They don't really rap about bitches & ho's, so, in a sense it's the fact that their rap is bullshit free.
by the way we do punch bitches [editline]14th May 2011[/editline] that makes me lmao
I was kinda thinking of going to that signing because I live in boston. I decided not to.
I was kinda thinking of going to that signing because I live in boston. I decided not to.
Why.
I had school and it just didn't seem like it was that big of a deal. I mean it's just an autograph, I didn't get tickets for the concert or anything.
It'd still be a good opportunity to see some bizarre shit.
I had school and it just didn't seem like it was that big of a deal. I mean it's just an autograph, I didn't get tickets for the concert or anything.
I would skip school if it meant even a slight chance to see OF, fuck.
HMV better get their shit together god damn this LP is taking long.
I would skip school if it meant even a slight chance to see OF, fuck.
I mean I like their music, but I don't think of them as idols or anything. They're just kids like anyone else. Talented ones, but not superstars.
Still blows my mind that Tyler is only 20.
