You can't do that in a lot of states, and it's a good fucking law. I'd rather not walk into some public building only to find it's full of smokers and breathing in their crap.
In ohio smoking law dictates that you cannot smoke inside a public establishment such as a resturant etc. It's kind of a stupid law for smoking bars, but great for nearly every place else.
Washington was here, all other states suck.

I mean, there's a reason why they keep trying to have people think of the Texas Revolution. It wasn't until probably the 1950s that Texans even cared about that point in their history. They viewed themselves as southerners, and as such for much of the period before then

It helps when Austin has a young population- as a result it's much more as open than most other areas in Texas. There's a reason why the insecure people elsewhere in Texas don't have nice things to say about it.
