Alright, done. Where's my cure for virginity?

Man up
The way I get out of depression is I do EXACTLY what I want to do when I'm depressed. Most of the time it's just masturbating.
Depression is a real thing. However, I highly doubt the OP has it. He's probably just an angsty teen.
Depression is a state of mind, unless you have chemical imbalances, that's a different story.
Reading the title I knew this thread would be a shitfest of uninformed idiots and boy howdy
most people posting here aren't being serious anyway.
Depression is a state of mind, unless you have chemical imbalances, that's a different story.
i'd say it's more of a combination of chemical imbalances, stress, and outlook.

That's true I guess.
The cure is to stop being a such a downer.
Counter strike. No joke here. I was depressed as shit too, got on and in 10 minutes all the problems went away. Legit, CS:S helps a lot if you go on the right servers and just have fun.

I doubt you were "depressed" then
maybe sad, but not depressed. you can't just alleviate depression by playing a video game for 10 minutes.
Buy a pet rock.
Talking to a friend and taking a shower helps.
(for like a hour to a day, then BAM tomorrow right back into it)
some people speculate a gun and the temple is a cure... but some say thats just cheating.
Get stoned, lay on the floor and have someone unleash 50 puppies at you.

This makes me happy when I'm sad.
Cure for depression: find it yourself and quit wasting your time by posting stupid flash animations.
So many people seem to not understand the meaning of the word "depression". Unhappyness, or being very sad is not depression. Just because you're down, doesn't mean you're depressed. THIS is what depression is.
Love is what cured my depression.
I swear without this random chick appearing out of nowhere I'd be probably be dead by now.

This. Probably the best and most reasonable cure for depression is love. If you truly feel loved, by someone you truly love, that's a goodbye to depression, at least for a long time. This is what "saved" me. Or she did. Otherwise I would've been dead many months ago.
Watch out, there's a dangerous minority in the link he posted. Watch your wallets.
Time. Time it's the cure

.. So more depression = cure for depression?

Nice, good to know I'm not the only one who got cured from depression by love.
.. So more depression = cure for depression?
No. Depression is normal, it's happen to almost everyone in peoples life. People will get over with it in a while.
ALF theme yay
Real cure? Stop pretending you're sick and go the fuck back to work (sister). Do you think I want her in the next room when I'm trying to score with my girlfriend?

People who let themselves sink that low and honestly think they can depend on others to end their suffering are naive.
I'm not calling you naive for getting out of your depressed state by falling in love with someone because you yourself made the effort to take interest in someone. I feel that people who are truly depressed don't even take interest in anything, even love. Not because they think it's useless but because they think they're so pathetic they don't deserve anyone.

And it's not depression which causes you suffering, it's you that causes the suffering for yourself. We all have the potential to stave off depression. The weak ones fall to it. The even weaker ones kill themselves over it.
cure for depression: Man up
You have no idea what depression is do you?
It's not something you would understand, and neither do I, but you can't just 'man up' and its all fine.

honestly it's more like a cycle. depression can be contributed to by things like lack of exercise, eating poorly, not having a regular schedule, etc. but it's mostly caused by an imbalance of neurotransmitters. being depressed causes a lack of motivation to take care of yourself or try and feel better.
aside from that, different things help different people. for a while i got into the habit of going for a jog whenever i was upset because it would make me feel better, but i have friends who that has never done anything for.
i'm with you on the last thing you said though. i can understand depression and i've experienced it on and off, but i have no sympathy for someone who commits suicide. it's an incredibly selfish act and shows that you don't care about the feelings of your friends or family, and it's basically saying you're too much of a wuss to deal with the problems in life that everyone else experiences and moves past.
ketamine is real cure for real depression
