I just went through the first 17-18 pages of the WTYO thread, and beyond the fact that the whole thing is just fucked up, there are at least a few examples of characters that appear to be younger than the legal age - and no one got called out on those. Maybe it's just the "style", but yeah, they still look way too young.

That's not the point. It doesn't "need" a video subforum. It doesn't "need" a news subforum. It doesn't "need" any of the subforums that are in the Hobbies section. But they're still there, people like them and everyone's happy. Why can't we have the same for NSFW content?

It is exactly the point. There is a lot of difference between "videos and news" and "nsfw content and pornography". Please explain what possible reason there is for Facepunch to host subforums dedicated to NSFW content and/or pornography.
The simple answer is there is no reason. There are plenty of forums and places expressly for NSFW content and porn you can visit instead. Why should Facepunch have a subforum for it?
