As someone who primarily browses CIPWTTKT and the WoT / WT threads in GGD I guess I never really appreciated how weird some parts of facepunch are until I read this thread.

It's not even like Twitter or Facebook where you get like 15 notifications for every reply you get. If you leave the thread, nothing is really actively reminding you to return other than your own will.
