This thread is like a paintball match where people shoots at each other projectiles filled with insults instead of paint. It's actually pretty interesting. Also, I stand on neutral ground in this matter. I learned how to read titles of threads long time ago to know where to not go but I see good reasons on both sides so I am just gonna watch how this sorts out.

But in any case it's already overwhelmingly clear that the userbase in general feels it would be better to impose a blanket ban on NSFW content.

I don't understand why porn threads like that have to exist on Facepunch. I can link you a plethora of sites that are up specifically for the purpose of jerking off to whatever floats your boat if you are completely unaware that these sites exist, but seeing as how every picture in that thread is a repost from the aforementioned websites, it seems you guys are perfectly aware of these sites. So the question becomes, why the hell do we need them on Facepunch? I would be willing to bet money that there are scads of kids reporting every image in that thread for porn and its literally cluttering the mod report section with porn. It basically makes the moderators job really fucking hard because they have to sift through pages of reports that are reporting porn and find the actual legit posts that actually break the rules. Sure they could ban all the kids that are reporting these porn posts, but it won't stop other kids from still reporting it because they are ignorant of porn being tolerated for some reason, that and if the mod report page works in a similar way that mod report pages on other sites that I have moderated on, they're going to have to close each individual report that is opened. So I voted no, they shouldn't be allowed. Go to the sites that are up for the sole reason to jerk off.
