That actually was Arc's reasoning. The thing is, most people aren't too fond of being called a dog/child fucker, even if it's in a joking way, so some people dismissed his comments as flamebait.

While I can indeed his argument, the thing is, other sites are like the above, and they see no reason to move when most are perceived as voting without even knowing what they are like.
